Thats why Raid time is not friendly, I understand that some ppl are fond of it because of too much akf reasons, but thenagain, purge and decay should be worked to deal with that. The best way, would be Fallout76 way of raiding (without the base despawning with player logout of course).
The amount of stuff you describe needed to accomplish this feat of heroism is not insignificant. While you’re gathering all that, the other party will have plentiful opportunities to wipe out your base.
That is only if you know they are an enemy. All it takes is one day you can’t log on (or not for first few hours at least), and the vultures are waiting.
Two people climb up to get inside the bubble, one person stands on the shoulders of the other and blows a hole. Both enter and take your stuff. Much faster then raiding a well designed ground base.
Personally I feel thralls shouldn’t drop gear on death. On the flip side I would be fine with gear not being removable once placed on them. This would make them strictly a defensive measure and not something to farm.
Right now when you equip a thrall with gear you’re pretty much giving it away to the enemy and it would help pull resources out of the game instead of helping bloat the server.
This is why there should be an Arrow Bin for Archer Thralls to pool arrows from then, It’s easy to keep something like that stocked than to keep giving each thrall arrows individually
Even on PvP servers, raiding is possible only during scheduled raiding time. And everybody on any given server knows when raiding time is. So where is the problem with offline raiding ? It’s the responsibility of players to be online during raiding time if they don’t want to be raided while offline. If you can’t then move to a server where you could.
Ah yes, that would be good for sure, QoL, like food pots, I only wish devs could manage to make the A.I great to the point of thralls making their path to the pots to resupply themselves.
