With the official word that mounts will not be coming to the game, @SteveKeepsDying and I came up with an alternate solution.
Please add a coconut 2H weapon that deals 0 damage. When you use left click you will saunter forward 1 step. When you right click you will gallop forward 2 steps. Each “attack” should be accompanied by the sound of “hoof beats” from the coconuts. The weapon could be called “Model Steed”
