Anyone notice in the last battlepass image that the sorcerer appears to be attempting to punch a hole in the green wall to the Northeast area of the map?

Edit: going back and reading your post I realise that I’ve just repeated what you implied and now I’m so excited. The exiled lands geography makes little sense , but I’ll put my bet for the biome being swampy, with maybe another big set of ruins
Alternative way to get free from the Exiled Lands? Since Kurak managed to get around the magic-blocking effect of the bracelets, maybe magical research could also nullify the lethal effect of the cursewall. No more collecting stupid artifacts - collect knowledge. Knowledge is power.
The artifacts would naturally remain an option for players who don’t want to take the way of the necromancer.
I’m not expecting a map expansion due to the limitations of the game engine.
