Stealth Croms Blade Nerf

That presumes they hit their target. Since they do a full combo they are locked at a single position to attack. In PVP this is easy to avoid and basically useless because by the time they have gotten to you again the cool down has already passed and they can try again.

In PVE though this is a major problem as once they have done their combo they back off. Making the NPC attack whoever else is closer and often running away from the thrall. Then the thrall will attempt to attack again 5 secs later often missing the mob and not doing any damage.

To those that complained of the damage in PVP they need to stop trying to face roll enemy thralls. And even in the current state if they are trying to face roll the enemy thrall they are going to be in for the SAME issue they were complaining about before, which is the massive burst. But when compared to other high level weps it’s literally only a difference of 80 damage or so total.

What were you doing killing 3 UC bosses? Top geared Dancer and top geared bearer with SoC, 1 full dps player and 1 enc build player we would run UC, do all but the 3rd dragon and run a circle. The bosses would be respawned before we got back.

The running alone through all the grouped bosses is at least 10 minutes.

But alas you still miss the point. In terms of PVE this sword has become useless. In terms of PVP it’s exactly the same unless someone was head slamming into a thrall. The ISSUE was the 450ish dmg burst (before DR) that a thrall could dish out. As it sits now they can still do that same burst. Though admittedly there are better PVP weapons after this latest patch than sword of Crom even pre-nerf of SOC.

The original design of the sword was really high dmg at one swing taking all your stamina.

They then needed its damage as it wasn’t being used on players but on thralls and thus became the best dps weapon for a thrall, still rare but the best.

The latest nerf was due to whoever reporting they were getting sliced and diced by it to fast. The latest nerf doesn’t fix the potential burst from it. So again the reasoning for its latest nerf isn’t resolved at all and the rest of the reasons for the sword suffer due to it.

Either way like I’ve said there are better weapons for PVP now anyways (perms poison, stamina reducers, ignore armor, etc). I’d still like my PVE sword returned to its former glory but I’m not holding my breath.

Extra damages of sword of Crom in PvE and PvE-Conflict was just overkill.

I repeat: a good fighter is already op and can kill everything in the game with a Blade of Adventurer.

BUT: in PvP a thrall with sword of crom was able to oneshot a player, wich was not fun at all. Me too in PvE-Conflict at least the last 5 times I’m dead it was because friendly fire by friend-thralls with this sword when helping during a purge and NOT by challenges of the game.

Sure, a good counter-argument could be: just change how the sword itself works. Good, but it requires a lot more work from developpers than it worths, so no.

In PVP a thrall is STILL able to one shot a player. They do a complete combo which is roughly 450 dmg before DR.

A complete combo is not a one shot, what I’m saying is the very first hit of a sword of crom was able to kill a full life, full equipped full buffed player.

If it’s still possible for a thrall doing this in PvP… well another reason why I’m happy playing PvE-Conflict instead
