Bug Description:
Stuck on login. Rubberbanding in place. Happening very often now.
This is happening to me almost every login lately on both 1822 PvE-C and 1824 PvP. I know this has been reported many times before, but it is happening 70 or more percent of the time now. Logging out and back in doesn’t fix. Logging out and going to another server and coming back doesn’t fix. I guess the only way to fix is it remove bracelet and die and then come back to your corpse. I really don’t like doing that. Call me sensitive.
I guess it’s impossible for Funcom to fix because they don’t care, but is there something I’m doing that is causing it to happen more often? Is it just something wrong with servers 1822 and 1824? Is it Nemedian building tiles? Is it Stormglass tiles? I also get stuck on the ground too though.

You log in and you are stuck. You rubberband in place.
Yep it can be several minutes. How big and busy your location is will affect the length of the process (all the things placed by players), and it also depends on the overall server load.
Sigh, No, it’s not working. Once I’m rubberbanding in place I’m stuck no matter how long I wait or how slow I try to move.
At least it sounds like they’re trying to do something about this in the Beta.
If xbox controllers are the same as playstation controllers, then they just go bad after awhile. I tried to fix it, but it’s between messy and… puzzle pieces.
Can you try something really crazy please?
Can you go in your inventory and change to “not shorted”?
This new inventory UI has created many problems and it seems to be behind many issues.

Sadly this doesn’t seem to have any effect. My inventory is always Not Sorted as a rule anyway. I played with the inventory and handcrafted pane settings but nothing seemed to help. But thanks.
Sure does, it’s a great suggestion until it is fixed and something I did when it first started. Depending on where you are if can be extremely frustrating. Especially for those that have no fear and log out on bare ground or on a rock with a full inventory and still get rubberband tethered in place. If you don’t have sorcery or enough mats, then you have to travel back. It’s not exactly a “part of the journey” thing.

Does this also happen on other servers besides those two?
Sure. This is on 1822. My character is in fact currently stuck in these screenshots. It happens almost every login. My character position on the map is similar to where it also happens on 1824 just in that it’s at the icy, volcano slope regions. I can’t speak for any other servers.
