I wouldn’t worry too much about that one. I’m no Star Wars fan, but a lot people are. It’s not uncommon to shoehorn Star Wars Easter eggs into pretty much anything, especially sci-fi or sword and sorcery stuff. tbh, as someone who doesn’t even like nor care about Star Wars, I’m use to it and just ignore it. There’s bigger issues in the world that need concern and attention.

The game is based on the lore, yes. If you like to have things that are not based on lore, that is what mods are for, which that thing you posed is from, a mod. That is what mods are for, if you want those specific kinds of mods. But in base game? They do not belong.
Yes, there are some “easter eggs” in the game. It is still just a sword however in a style what fits stylistically. It’s just a silly name and the “item description” that are the easter egg.
That is vastly different than some anime looking giant hamster thing that people are riding on.

Attention got. I found one of those, and trained a fighter thrall I named Lucy Cloudrunner to use that weapon. As luck would have it, even her hairstyle and color match Luke’s as well as the game model allows, no mods involved.
It’s a pity the Force is not with her - the idiot lass refuses to do more than two-hit combos with it, despite being T4. And she missed a Vitality increase three levels in a row despite having a 94 % increase chance.
