Suggestion: orb of Nergal

Hi,
The use of the orb of Nergal is limited, we can change only the appearance of our character.
It could be very nice to change also the appearance of our thrall.

Yes thralls are very stern… all that gruel should make them at least look tense.

I would like the ability to change the apparel of crafter thralls,

and character names.
Eg if there are 3 players named “Ragnar” on a server, one of them could add “shaggy-breeches”

There are some very fine mods that allow this, but it would be nice as part of the base game.

Also the mod emberlight allows for different scalps with different hair, this adds a great deal of versatility.

Yeah, I’ve seen several threads on this. I’m sure I wasn’t the first one to suggest including Thralls in the Orb bench. And every time it’s been brought up it’s been unanimous in favor of it. It even kinda fits with FC’s own direction… Thrall Emotes, etc.

It prolly won’t happen… but it would be nice if it did. I wouldn’t complain!

I am in favor of this, I strongly support changing thrall appearance, including benched thralls. At the very least, for benched thralls, I wish we could change their names.

Can’t see why they can’t just make a mute ‘emote’

While we’re at it, some of the sound effects for the emotes are a bit odd… for example: why does
the ‘Submissive’ emote involve the thrall coughing their guts up?

But yeah, being able to change the look of thralls, I’m all for that!

@Crompox YES. I cannot understand why submissive makes the thralls cough. I believe it must be a glitch? Because the terrified or scared emote, I do forget which, comes with a “speculative” sound that should come with the thoughtful emote, no?

… submissive sounds like the end product of a fellation discharge, or too many cigarettes.

Actually I only discovered it a little while back, it was driving me nuts trying to figure out which thrall was doing it

Where else does this coughing sound come from? I have not heard it anywhere before. I was thinking maybe when one is poisoned or triggering vapor traps, but the sound was not present then. Vapor traps have your character make noise, but no coughing. Anyone know?
