Maybe I’m just particularly bad at managing my thralls, but I’m continually getting penned in corners by my thralls. Sometimes I can climb/jump out, sometimes I can put one on guard a few feet away, but that’s not always possible. Today, I got jammed in a corner in the Arena. I wasn’t allowed to place my thralls, they were so close to me I couldn’t use the Move command, and there was an overhang, meaning I couldn’t jump or climb out. In the end I had to suicide and go back and get them. It would be really useful if there was some kind of command to make them step back sometimes.

Did you hit them? Sometimes that will leave enough room to clicky-move.

Katana charge attack will usually get you free. But I agree, some kind of scatter command is something that would be hugely useful.

If you by any chance are playing single player or a private server where you have a say in the mods used, then Better Thralls has a “back off” shout which causes all nearby thralls to move away from the player.
Otherwise what Tuffman said, katana dash

I’m playing solo, or on a private server with a friend. I’ll look into the addon - thanks for the heads up

Go first face, look to an empty spot and order them to move, they will. When you are in first face and your focus is not on them, no matter how close you are you do not interact in their inventory!

Thank you I’ll try that the next time it happens. I was trying to get them to move, but just kept opening their inventory, which was very frustrating.
