when i modded civilization (just little visual mods), there was the possibility to increase the number of the units in the map by simply changing a number (from 1 to many). i would like to have thralls companies (just for fighters), for example thrall 1 You will see 5 npc, T2 you will see 10, etc. And when they loose hp in fights… they downsize in number of visual. Maybe clan wars will be more immersive, and similar to games like Conqueror Blade or Tiger Knight, great games but sadly focused only on the battles.
Alliances: You can sign alliances so in pvp battles your thralls won’t attack allies, players and thralls.
I have to say, i do personally like the idea of #3. It would give a bit more meaning to the War Party perk. I do have some questions regarding visual coherence and feasibility of the implementation but without going into that i’d say it’d be nice to see.
I would like to see a Morale system added to Thralls now that they are all out in the world.
The better the food provided, the higher the morale (incentivizes pursuing higher tier recipes)
The more furniture (and variety) in the local area (ie. base), the higher the comfort (and thus, morale – incentivizing less basic “box” warehouse bases and more 'lived in" spaces)
I would also like to see a Reputation system added. For example, if you keep raiding Cimmerians and capture their people, they will retaliate (old purge system), but if Cimmerians are the enemy of, say, Stygians, then you might get discounts on prices for ‘getting in good’ with the Stygians.
Each faction would have its own “territory”
Gaining favor with one faction impacts one’s relationship with the others.
Losing favor with one faction likewise impacts one’s relationship with others, too.
I would like to see additional “worker” thralls added to the game:
Animal Tamer (pets)
Musicians (expanding entertainers)
Healers (expanding alchemists)
I would like to see a revamp and improvement of a few systems, too:
Food/Drink (including new sources like fruit trees… bananas, date palms, etc)
Religion (worship, benefits, avatars)
Siege warfare (expanded and more impactful for both PvP and PvE)
Purge (add option in Single Player for Purges to be a random event rather than a scheduled ‘loot’ run)
I would also like to see that ‘dances’ (emotes) learned in the world serve a purpose. Let entertainers come with 1-4 dances that they know (based on their level). Then let players collect additional dances to “teach” to their entertainer thralls that can be found out in the world. That incentivizes players to search and find them (and add more to the game to be found with other expansions).
And those are just a few suggestions of what I would like to see in the future.
