Suspect player of building inside the mesh, but not sure

Official 1824 PvP
Suspect player of building inside the mesh, but not sure… He’s way up at the edge of the map in the volcano and as high up as possible. Seems like half a base sticking out of the cliff because it’s not big enough to really be a functional base. But not sure and don’t want to complain if he’s following the rules.

Probably using the build height limit so that bombs can’t be placed on top. Also can’t god them in most cases.

I’ve built similarly in very high positions usually to hide. It’s not easy to build on most sheer cliff faces so your space is limited and the build looks ridiculous and suspicious at the worst.

Confirmed. No mesh exploit. He’s legit.
I know because I blew up his base. Letting the poor noob clan he wiped two days ago take all his stuff. Man he really squeezed a full base worth of stations and storage in that tiny space. Respect.

More has transpired with this player, and we suspect that undermeshing and other cheating may be at play. After I attacked his base, two new players immediately came to the server with different steamIDs (consisting of only numbers), and immediately made offline raids on mine and other player bases. We believe these are their “cheat” accounts, because they were not taking any damage when getting attacked or being near exploding bombs.
Hoping an admin can check out the area in this screenshot, because it says “Land Already Claimed” all around this area where my pointer and the ? are, but nothing visible is built there. Just to see if it could be undermeshing.

I have numbers only accounts. It doesn’t mean they’re cheating for having alts and/or only numbers. You can purchase alts for as little as a cup of coffee and often most can’t be bothered to put any effort into making the accounts personal.

With that aside, I realize you’re looking to blame someone. I also realize your deductions are probably right.

Funcom isn’t going to investigate based on your post or comments here. They’ll only investigate with a Zendesk report(s) that has video proof, Funcom IDs, detailed description of the issue and probably additional reports for the server in general.

Have you tried the lay down trick to look inside the mesh?

Nah not blaming. Trying to keep more good players from leaving the server because a cheater showed up. 3 left already. 3 thinking about it.
We’re working on gathering the details. One friend is researching undermeshing to investigate. I will submit on zendesk soon.
