I will slightly disagree here. The game has a great variety of weapons and target lock. So when you decide to cooperate on fights with others, either you’ll both choose weapons and attack combos that focusing only in the target, or you will take your turn on hits, meaning you attack you dodge back and now the other attacks. I happen to fight numerous mobs and bosses in full pvp servers but we almost never hit each other. You know on pvp you hurt your thrall too, so it’s better either to train how to fight with thralls without hurting them, or play pve without having these issues. It is intended and generally logical in the games difficulties, I personally wouldn’t like them to change that. In the beginning I understand that you were playing co op, seeking for help how to change your parameters.
But playing official is a totally different story…
This is it, take it or leave it
.
It is a mechanic to ensure that players are mindful of how they approach and/or attack enemies and from what angles when other players particularly ally players assisting you.
You must be sure of your attack arc and finishing attack arc of your particular weapon and a what point in your combo you are in as your attacks change with continued series of attacks (hitting the attack button quickly in succession ) as make sure you finishing attacks outside of the hitbox of friends from beginning to end and from start of finish of the combo.
It takes practice not get into others way as it would in a real fight with friends and enemies mixed in a small area.
How many? From 6 y.o, now im 30. Or you mean survival games? Didnt count, 500 h ce and 900 ark, 7dtd, zomboid and forest also 100+ each.
And i dont see any game where you can hit your clan member, even on pvp server. Its a nonsence.
It doesnot work even if friendly fire disabled thats the problem.
This is the default behaviour on any PvP server my friend. Friendly fire is a thing. Except on PvE.
Personal opinion I like that it keeps you on your toes a bit even when fighting along side Clanmates.
