Hi, i have placed a teleportation stone 4 times now in the same place, every time i log out … next day its gone again. Its not showing up in the event log , its on t3 foundations and the other placeables dont disappear… its frustrating to say the least lol any idea how to fix this?

Maybe you should try a different location as a test. I personally, have not experienced any problems with it. Perhaps it’s other placeables that are too close that are causing the problem or maybe it’s a mod issue. After you test a few scenarios, if it is still disappearing then you should file a bug report. Don’t forget to include lots of detail (video if possible).

Try placing the stone somewhere else and see how it goes.

Are you maybe placing it down and then using the move placeable radial menu option? I’ve noticed some things placed that way revert to their very first initial placement, regardless of what might be in that spot. I for example had a wheel of pain sticking through two buildings, chairs that are in the middle of tables, bonfires sunken into foundations i had altered (moved bonfire and placed another foundation on top to increase height, etc…
Edit: to add, this doesn’t happen upon every login/server restart for me. Just once so far on a private server, after i changed a few multipliers and the nighttime scale.
As far as I know one can’t move Teleportation Stone. You even can’t “pick it up” with your construction hammer: it means that when you destroy it you get back only 1/3 of materials. So the only way to move it is by some mod - but then all the TP network becomes bugged.
yea i destroyed it and rebuild it in another spot … logged in today and its gone again lol screw it i think il just move the main base to here and scrap the teleport stones… broken for me and wasting endless mats on them xD
Then i am stumped, i do have placeables shifting around but nothing is outright disappearing.
I tested it with the teleporter, it is still there though i have yet to actually activate and use it.
Maybe it… teleported

Are you placing other placeables on top of your teleportation stone?
It’s an old bug. Placeables on top of placeables sometimes deletes both of them on server reboot.
So if you put any candles, cups, bowls, chests, decorations, ect anywhere on your teleportation stone it might just disappear into the outer void.
And if you put your teleportation stone on top of a carpet, same thing.
forgot to reply here, i stopped using stones for a few days… then build it up a bit further away , the lonely grave was nearby and i think that the stone was to close … even though i could place it , it was prolly still to near (no it wasn’t ontop of it, infact i cant even see it from my base) but moving a fraction further away solved the issue
