The Bazaar and Towers of Yamatai set

I don’t understand the concept of the bazaar? I wanted to buy the Towers of Yamatai set the moment I saw it in the dev log, but as a normal human I have a life outside the game and in the time of the set is available in the bazzar, I was busy with work and life, now I can’t buy it! I need to wait until the gods of RNGs to rotate back to the set … I can’t think of one thing this FOMO system is doing any good?!! I love the game and the devs, they keep developing new content for free and I want to support them by purchasing sets and DLCs, I’ve bough Isle of Siptah, and when I heared about the new set, I bought Seekers of the Dawn Pack … I was excited to go back to the game to play age of heros and decided to have the Yamatai theme.

Now I’m putting the game aside even though I didn’t play any of the new content. If anything, can any dev give me just one good reason why using fomo helps the game in anyway?

Think it’s the chinese monetization system - old classic, “western” style, as seen i.e. in Star Trek Online, allows for the whole suite to be visible and available at all times.

No worries, all they do is rotate old stuff in the bazaar so it should come along soon.

I know what bazaar as a system means, I meant it more of a rhetorical question. it’s a FOMO garbage (fear of missing out).
