I’ve read from other players that they would file a zendesk report on anybody who builds in The Crevice. They say the thoroughfare is faster without anybody in the crevice. I thought I would compromise and put just a map-room in the Crevice. Does that settle it?
No that’s just land claiming the area so no one builds in there. A report doesn’t mean FC agrees. Do you know if anyone has gotten banned for building up the crevice. I haven’t yet. The cave was and is one of the most popular spots to build in, PvE or PvP.
I’ve had my base there on another server (that was shutdown). I do not have anyone specific to ask.
i know.
See this base? the 3 entrances were like this. it was not just “foundation claim” it was actually a base, you can even see an altar.
hell it was so not bannable that we decided to not record the rest.
Still got admin wiped.
The curious thing is that i did not reported this one.
but funcom doesn’t like seeing people with a base.
That one, plus 3 other instances I know in the last couple of weeks.
I know of 5 clans that have been admin wiped from building in Crevice.
That is a shame and needs corrected if just making crevice a base is a violation of the ToS. There are some markers that should be allowed as blocked because they don’t do anything from the game standpoint. There has got to be some common sense in this and not just 'oh well you blocked some one from finding the crevice mark so gotta go. That like eliminating someone because they blocked a deer spawn. There is a difference between crevice and chaosmouth…like there is between a deer and a world boss. If the enforcers don’t know this difference then they need better training.
There are two places labeled “The Crevice.” Which one are you discussing?
Ack. The alpha clan just claimed the Crevice, so I’ll find another spot. Personally, the Crevice is kinda out of the way from desired game play.
@Bodin near the mounds
This is the one in the highlands at D11
(Sorry didn’t see Dzonatas already wrote that)
