One word. Cripple. Yes, it takes more skill, but it works wonders.
Try keep someone cripple all the time lol. But im happy that I believe that devs not even thinking of removing stagger. It would be really bad.
Harpy daggers left click spam with target lock.
Easiest PvP of my life
I guess itâs true. But I dont talk about broken cripple weapons xD (wich you already know) but yea, sure harpy weapons in siptah sure. But other weapons in exile lands not really possible
Well one you have to stop and heal and the other you donât. If you aneent staggering the opponent they will heal and get away much easier with gluten. Also last stand takes one minute to come back so if you keep getting tagged you will eventually die (unless you can get a pot off). Now thatâs purely a chasing situation. In any kind of group fight last stand is always the way to go.
Great axe is broken.
Bow and we do have mounts to chase with, but you know that already too.
Point still stands: Stagger is a crutch in pvp. Simple. Period.
I guess you could call them that lol they die in two hits hardly an advantage now but to the point Stagger should remain hands down
âOkeyâ thatâs why almost all games have some sort of stagger/aimpunching, but ye you probably right⊠not
And yes. There is bows and horses so what? I would like to see you make someone not run away with a bow lol.
Last stand is broken, should not be 95% dmg reduction. Makes people able to run away way go easy, especially when there is building nearby. And if you get someone low enough so they get last stand + mad berserker combine I wish you good luck
Sadly true. Wich is boring. Facing really good players and your chances getting a kill is lower than itâs been in a long time.
For you.
You can try to avoid being hit by attacks by using dodging or blocking, and by positioning yourself carefully in combat. Basic things you learn when you play PvP and actually fight players. If you get swarmed by NPCs in PvE, thatâs a different story, but usually hyper armor abuse helps you out (also in PvP, but players will dodge you).
One more word: Aim ( Not Q aim assist actually aim)
Really ?
Stagger is only a problem for me ??
Remember I am the one would like it gone and donât think it should have a place in pvp . And again it is a crutch. Donât think so ? Donât use it. It will make you a better fighter even without spears.
Does anyone remember when feroxic daggers were all the rage with the kids?
The meta will shift, this is certain, it always does.
Sneak attack with a lance was another one.
However, sifting thru the discussion on stagger (which tangents well into hyper armour) and dodge rolling⊠This has been quite a bit to chew on. Some of this is in the specifics of the gear as it currently is, but it hits on deeper concepts. Heavey armour is for Thralls. Due to how HP/Damage scales, it seems that taking hits is a horrible way to go (pity, this one tends to enjoy durability/endurance styles, but Soulâs like rolling it is) and mobility must be emphasized. Not just in the duel, but also for moving to and from the battle. Would attaching hyper armour to heavey armour shake up the meta? A spitball.
This one makes no pretense of being a good duelist (in this game, but if anyone has Hellish Quart or has found a way to play the comparatively archaic Bushido Blade online, and wants a friendly bout, that might be fun). The extremely niche PvP style this one used is mostly for solo vs clan and is very much a thing of baiting and misdirection. In many ways, if the enemy is there to offer direct combat, the plan has already started to come apart.
This one did recently finish a Mushroom Kingdom run. Expertise/Strength build, empathize carrying weight, stomp on fools who donât look up in a three dimensional war zone. With the added twist that no meat was allowed to be eaten, only flowers/berries and mushrooms (and food made from them), the only weapons allowed were fire orbs and hammers, and clothing was always dyed red and blue, for the full immersive Mario experience. This one did cheat and occasionally have a Luigi style green shirt.
It was more effective than it had any right to be.
Which does highlight that more seasoned or sagacious competitors may have been on vacation.
The problem with heavy armor is NOT the hitstun.
With 3.0 we have a higher amount of armor penetration from the agility perks alone. Add the master weapon fitting for a whopping 12% and any weapon is good versus high armor rating.
You can get up to 47% armor penetration from a kit and the perks alone!
An agility build should never counter high armor builds, because you are not using any hammers or maces (strength weapons). In fact, an agility build should get countered by an high armor build.
EDIT: But since you can run an agility build AND a strength build at the same time, talking about counters is nonsense. Hence Conan is no real RPG.
I agree.
I think armor penetration on that high level should be reserved to blunted weapons, giant hammers and a bit of 2h weapons instead of making it possible on any weapon almost on same level.
They could rebalance light/med/heavy armors by giving static buff to each class for example light would increase roll speed but heavy decrease it while giving it more stagger res / shorten debuff duration etc.
