The flare event does not go ahead

I cannot proceed with the event where the flare heats the sword in the volcano. Flare asks me if I am ready, but the only option that comes up is NO.” How do I get the “yes” option?

While in Beta I could progress at this stage if I stood around and waited for 5 minutes, Freya dies and then the dialogue allows you to progress.

No idea if it will work for you, perhaps worth a try though?

Problems with companion quest progress are known though, you can put in a bug report if you continue to experience the bug. If you do, once you’ve filled out the template, select it all, copy and paste into a New Topic.
