I don’t see anything bad / wrong with this. It only might help, but definitely wouldn’t hurt.
I just can’t really help here as I always play as Single Player. I.e. I’m not connected to (m)any people through games. Those who play in general, don’t play CE as far as I know.
But in doing so you risk losing the raw and emotional aspects of the news to their consumers and then turn it into a political exercise. This thing needs to be felt…first as a betrayal to the large chunk of community (2/3 of it back in 2022) and then start feeling the numbers drop.
The thing about it is that the merger plans probably weren’t released yet because of this announcement and they didn’t know how much damage they would do to the console play and could be closing down more servers due to it. Sucks but this is the most likely reason why we didn’t get the server merge lists immediately.

I still say get them to voice their opinions. Just don’t organize it. The numbers need to be felt. If the numbers are on our side, FC will cave. If not, well we are part of that vocal minority.
Ok , i will try my best. One more thing, what about twitch, do you think this would help? I stream mute, i don’t go professionally there, i play and share for fun only, no financial benefits, so don’t expect me to act different. But would it help?
I’m not sure how viable twitch is as a content source but if you got some on speed dial, doesn’t hurt for them to say something.
Also those diehard content providers could say something on their channels in solidarity and maybe pressure more details where is the delay coming from…a walking away from consoles, a ue5 integration into consoles l, or maybe using dune to do all the heavy lifting and then use that as a blueprint for cee.
I have a very (very) small YouTube channel and was putting out Conan content last year. I went on hiatus due to life last fall, but have been considering returning for Enhanced. Might work on a video this week addressing the upgrade not coming to console and the response by the community. Mine is an insignificant voice in the grand scheme of things, but I’m willing to try.
Also, Gamelabz, who has a decent following on YouTube and plays on PS5, posted a couple of videos about it. We absolutely need bigger names to lend their voice as well.
Just a minor suggestion/addition - maybe people could try publicising PacificJRs petition thread. It’s up to 42+ votes so far. If a bunch more people added to it, that probably wouldn’t hurt. At the very least it’d be something simple that people could be let know about and could add their voice to.
Gamelabz is out. Their goodbye vid just hit three hours ago. Their content is based in PS5 and so they decided to abandon the content because they knew the PC crowd would get the lion’s share of hits because they can speak towards the new content that will come from Enhanced.

Yeah, just saw that. I know Angaar spoke of it on his stream yesterday, but don’t know if he’ll put out a video dedicated to it. He might mention it again when we start getting Enhanced content from him next month.
As helpful as that thread is, we might want to consider getting a petition out on a larger platform that can be shared other places (reddit, youtube, etc) that will not require a forum account. I can imagine some folks might not bother if they have to create an account here to vote. Not to take away from PacificJRs efforts (which are very appreciated) and a poll here is the best chance of getting Funcom to notice, just saying it might get limited engagement over the community as a whole.

I would never ask something of that of someone. It’s not my place to ask them to use the platform they’ve built all by themselves. I made the petition and I shared it in one of their Discords. It’s more than enough that they’d sign it and know it exists.
