I was doing the Jhebbal Sag dungeon in the Exiled Lands (single player) and I just got done fighting the werewolf boss which I have done dozens of times. It was… as underwhelming and laughably weird as it always is… a large werewolf boss at the end of a cool but lackluster dungeon. He comes out swinging of course… literally punching and kicking using the unarmed moveset. Once I defeated this joke of a boss I decided to use my admin powers to “ghost” up to the big man Jhebbal Sag himself and just get a closer look out of curiosity. As soon as I set foot back in the arena once I was done looking the werewolf boss respawned but with an entirely different (and really cool) moveset. He was dashing and clawing (not punching) all over the arena!
So I have questions… was he always a lame boxer that only punched or did he used to have this cool moveset? Is the fact that he doesn’t use his claws to fight a bug?
I just did the Midnight Grove and noticed this as well. There’s a bug going around where enemies don’t unsheathe their weapons and just start MMA fighting you. It’s possible that the unique berzerker barrage type attacks is a “Weapon” type, like how its coded, i guess. Because in the past i do remember the claw slashes and half room dashes being part of his move set. Also, his model looks different I think, i feel like he used to be bigger, and had a thick mane on his back.
I didn’t do Jhebbal Sag in a long time , but he always had his cool moveset , that is indeed unique to him ! ( aka not just regular claws moveset )
but I saw the bug you’re speaking of in a video , and that’s indeed caused by him not drawing his weapon out ( so unarmed moveset , similar to any humanoid punches moveset )
I remember there was a bug before where you could sometimes find after killing him a “cloth bag’” that if you equiped as a weapon would give you his moveset ( but it was obviously patched away as it wasn’t intended )
