Thick Armor Plating

Game mode: Online
Problem: Bug
Region: All

Since the patch that dropped with the blood and sand dlc, there is an issue with the armor values of all armor pieces that had their values adjusted but also had thick armor plating applied prior to the patch.

For example, many of our thralls wear the Black Dragon epic flawless heavy armor. If I were to craft a fresh set of this armor post-patch, the total armor value on the thrall would be 1,012. However, for the thralls who had sets crafted pre-patch and also had thick armor plating applied, the armor value remains at 798. This is the total of the unaltered Black Dragon armor pre-patch (783 armor) plus the 15 armor added by the thick armor plating. The value should be 1,027 armor (1,012 armor for the unaltered set plus the 15 armor added by the thick plating).

Currently, due to this bug, we have many thralls that are stuck at a much lower armor value than they should actually have.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Look at armor crafted pre-patch which already had the thick plating applied
  2. Look at armor crafted post-patch

Unfortunately this is a long standing issue. It may or may not be addressed soon.

Hello @LostInTim, thank you for reaching out!

Although we’re aware of this issue, it’s unlikely that it will be addressed anytime soon, apologies for the inconvenience.
