Values for Heavy armor didn't change, is this a bug or what?

Heavy sets with armor plates on them didn’t pick up the updated values from this patch buff to heavy armors. Why not? Is this a bug or intentionally works this way?
This will force me to craft new sets or be at a disadvantage. It seems like a bug to me but not quite sure so if anyone knows why is this a thing I would appreciate the info. Thank you.

wow, rewards for being lazy and not modding armor, that seems totally right

Indeed, I have all my personal armor sets plated or modded and crafted a new set and that one has more armor value than the plated one prior to the patch. Would like to find out if this is how it’s always worked or if it’s a bug. It would be great for @Ignasi or @hugo to clarify this or anyone with info about this issue cause honestly being forced to craft more sux. Why can’t they leave the plates (im not asking to remove them) and just add the value to it.

Generally the values of modded items did not adjust fully to the new value. In the past, this had lead to what is called “pre-nerf” items that were more powerful than any current version. I suppose we have seen “pre-buff” armor now and have to accept both ways the yoyo swings

Unfortunately I can also confirm this issue… to the dismantling bench!

I tried dismantling my godbreaker armor and it doesn’t dismantle lol such a bummer I wish they’ll do something about it amd add the correct values to EVERY armor set in the game not just future crafting after patch but I know that’s not going to happen. Things like this are SO irritating as much as I luv this game I have to say this is bs.

Seems that way unfortunately. So irritating to have to deal with this and be at a disadvantage cause the armor someone else didn’t mod or crafted after patch is stronger than mine. Oh well guess it’s pointless to rant about as most likely nothing will be done.

Thanks for replying guys!

at least god breaker chest keeps the same stats as before, 350. dont know about the other pieces

Chest plate isn’t a big difference, the rest is tho. Full set now 1100+ vs 1k pre patch. Not only godbreaker but all heavy sets pre patch are weaker

This was already a bug in the last patch too… Open a bug-ticket, maybe it will be patched retroactively… (so old items will be changed to new value).

I agree with @jot29. You should report this. I don’t mind reporting it if you don’t want to. You can start a new thread here;

https://forums.funcom.com/c/conan-exiles/Exiles-PS4-Updates

It has been the case for any modified item. I still have 127 damage crom sword

Here some thread where it happened in last patch too:

Wow ever since!? Well that just kills any hope of them fixing this. Thanks for the info.

Ok so it is indeed a bug but one that has been in game basically since SoC was nerf so that kills any hope of them fixing it. Was also a problem last time armor values were changed, was reported and nothing happened so honestly I have 0 motivation at this point to report it as a bug now. Thanks everyone for clarifying my doubts about this one. I had no idea it was a bug it just seem strange so wanted to ask.

I would not describe it as a bug. Just the modified items don’t get their values recalculated on update and they keep the old stats for good or bad.

More of a design flaw in the update script but not a bug per se

I am not a programmer or a tech person at all though so have no idea how complicated it is to be executed.

Well that’s not good and mod items should gain new values for good or bad. Therefore certain instances could be utilized as “exploits” to have an advantage over other like your 127 damage SoC for example but if it’s a flaw in the update system and since the haven’t adjust it since then I guess it’s too complicated so I’ll just deal with it and SURVIVE

Hey there,

Generally any changes to equipment are not retroactive in most cases, which will make old equipment retain old values.
