hey i have got one question. with the new update the heavy armor changed right?. but only if you craft a new one or how does that work? i just compared two old armors with 2pieces i crafted new. the silent legion one with an armor plating(old) had less armor than a new one without any mod. but a pictish warchief without armor plating had the same amount of armor than the new one…
for which armors do i have to craft a new one? can someone explain that to me, doesnt really makes sense to me (only thing i see is that old armor pieces with old armor plating is buggy?)
historically, any modded armor or weapon held its stats after a nerf/buff. So if you did not mod anything, then it will have the same stats as new crafted items. Modded will retain the stats. That is why some thralls still have OG silent numbers, and some weapons have og dmg and armor pen.
I think one of the moderators was running it by devs to see if it is a bug one way or the other. But if a bug that it should retro fix, there will be an outcry for those with OG buffed versions of items getting the nerf hammer. the ones that get the buff balloon on their items won’t say anything on Forums, so it will look “bad” in Funcoms PR department, even though it is technically a bug correction.
Sobek was oversight, because you can get the armor at any lvl and the armor was better than many lvl60 armors… (look at Pride of Aesirs armor value… But you can only craft them at lvl60).
And Annihilator was never a bug, but as they changed the 2h-sword style, it was way to strong. Hence why Worldbreaker still has 100% ap.
But the Annihilator with the NEW head chop + dmg oil had way too much dmg output in PvP (or in the hands of thralls).
As soon as they change sth for 2h-hammers, you will see the Wordbreaker nerfed too.
