I expected the golem to only harvest fiber not the other stuff as well since i did not select that as an option in the harvest area. Is this working as intended or should i ticket this?
Interesting. Well, as long as you don’t find anything you don’t want in there*, isn’t that a good thing?

The extra items are simply a byproduct of your golem doing what you told it too. I guess you could suggest that golems be given the ability to clean their own inventories.

Curious. It looks like the golem isn’t only collecting plant fiber but actually harvesting stuff using the same rules a player does. So if there’s a yellow lotus flower hiding among shrubbery, and you swing a sickle at it, you end up harvesting yellow lotus alongside the plant fiber (and by-products).
I wonder if Funcom could add a checkbox for “gather by-products” to harvesting minions. Sometimes you want the extra stuff, sometimes you don’t.
Sometimes in harvesting the fiber you get other things that are in the bushes, just as if you wrre harvesting it yourself.
Mom gave little Timmy $10 and a note that said “Buy a gallon of milk”. Little Timmy bought a gallon of milk for $ 5 and spent the other $5 on the ice cream. And when mom told him she never mentioned he can buy himself an ice cream, little Timmy replied - “You didn’t. I have bought a milk just like I was told, but you never explicitly told me I have to return the change. Working as intended”.
Now you know who is responsible for Golem design in CE.
