2 times i try to start again on officials pvp and after fews hours … i simply do not want to play anymore. The game is completely broken, there is no fun anymore.
Addiction is gone in only 2 weeks 
Might want to try an open, unofficial server? Because let’s be completely honest here: the official servers have never been anything but seething cesspools of misery. Active PvP servers are dominated by anti-social alpha clans (expected) and undermesh cheaters, and the PvE servers are dominated by griefers and a whole bunch of people who think their most fabulous creation to date is a sandstone box in the middle of a shallow stream.

This may sound a bit harsh, but your post feels non constructive and more like a rant since you just say that the game is completely broken and not fun??
I enjoy the game, and have a lot of fun with it. But the official servers,which is what i was talking about there, are an unmanaged, umitigated hot mess. There’s no other objective way to describe them.
I would never ever recommend anyone play on them. Either stick with single player and accept the limitations it has, or play on an unofficial server that is actually cared for by someone who gives even half a damn about the community there.
Edit: And i understand why Funcom can’t manage thousands of servers. It is what it is, but sadly, it means they’re terrible. Also think you may have been responding to the OP and not me, and yeah, it’s a rant, but a deserved one IMO.
Weird, cos after about 10 official pvp servers your description only sound like 2 of them.

Real men (and women) play official. All those boosted servers aren’t a challenge, it’s like riding a bike with training wheels that auto-peddles for you and steers itself. Gotta go out and hit 3 rocks today so I can build a 19 story base, whew I’m exhausted.

I’ve been looking restart server… the several exp boost they’ve done made leveling happen way to fast. XD
I’m really bored of roll, things like rhinos and elelphants and sabercats are just not even fun to deal with.

Yeah, because there’s no way I’d rather spend what time off I have from my full-time job than grinding my various body parts off in this game rather than doing something fun like building or exploring.

Problem is the actuals changes in the game with the new patch, I will not list all changes, problems and bugs here.
And old bugs, glitchs, undermesh … are still presents in game.
So … I do not want to play anymore, after 1 year of playing at first solo then on multiples pvp servers.
For PvP the massive boost makes kinda sense…your Goal is to kill each other and steal your goods (PvE C only kill each other).
But for PvE… yeah, grinding sucks. But its part of the PvE gameplay.
But 10x PvE with Starter Pack, makes what sense? Hence why this servers are dying faster than new ones are coming…
And the last thing this game needs, is more servers…

It’s why I just ended up getting my own server, and it’s configured exactly the same as the standard PvE servers (no boosts, decay enabled, thrall limits, level 6 purges, etc.) I enjoy the pain.
What about small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri? 
That’s what turned me off the private servers I’ve tried so far. With a harvesting multiplier along the lines of 6x, there are whole swaths of game mechanics that you never ever need to touch anymore 
Eh, I don’t mind not having to grind as much, but the problem is that the game is balanced (if we can call it that) for the official settings. Sliding multipliers too far breaks what precarious balance there is.
On the one hand, I agree. Fewer servers would mean more people on each server. On the other hand, I disagree vehemently, because of the griefers. What do you do when you get a griefer clan on a PVE server, walling people in, walling obelisks in, spamming foundations everywhere? You say “screw this” and you go play on a different server. Too few servers and they all get dominated by griefers and then you say “screw this” and go play a different game.
On second thought, that might be for the best. Maybe then Funcom would put some major effort into making PVE griefing much harder…

I mean you can easily find an unofficial server with vanilla rates you know??? Heck you can find unofficial servers without any mods and vanilla rates, the only difference then being Admin support vs no Admin support.
So a better way of saying it is unofficial is like riding your bike on the side walk on a nice beach boardwalk with friendly folks waving good morning and some police in view to keep the peace, while official is like riding down a dingy dark alleyway in the worst part of town and just praying you won’t get stabbed tonight because even the police are too afraid to patrol those areas. That is a much better analogy no 
?

Lmao really, what bull crap is that statement. Most officials I have been on are filled with winy baby alphas who kill every one they see as they are scared crap less someone better then them will raid their bases they only log in to update or they log in to raid others offline as they are wimps. Then there is the servers filled with cheaters and under meshers. OH yea real mean and woman yup yup, bull crap again.
We are all real mean and woman and each of us have our play style, some like the battles, some like the crafting , some like to build so how about you try not insulting everyone who is not you and likes a different play style then you.
