Thrall and Pet Feeding?

Been a while now since I was on the boards, so forgive me if this is answered since I did not find it in a search.

Do I keep feeding my thralls and pets or not since it seems from reading starvation has been disconnected. Every time I log on the food is gone and it used to last 4 days minimum before.

Can someone explain to me if this is a bug or an intentional change given the way thralls do not show food and the pots stay empty.

it’s an intentional change… a bad one …
Thralls/pets do not die from hunger. If a player/clan does not log in for 14 days, then on the 15th day all their thralls/pets will despawn. If they log in at all then all the timers on their thralls and pets will be reset to the 14day countdown … NO need to go close to them …it’s linked to an owner logging in anywhere in the map.

you only need to feed thralls/pets IF you want to give them a combat buff - which they get from their preferred food.
However, Funcom has coded that thralls & pets INSTANTLY consume ALL food items put into their inventory … raw, cooked, crafted … (so we can’t put food into their inventory for them to transport it for us as they consume entire stacks instantly)

The combat buff given by the preferred food lasts one hour OR until the server resets.

Players can only see that the thrall/pet has the combat buff when the looking at the thrall/pets health bar whilst it is in combat … it will have a small icon on the bar indicating it is buffed.

Despite the buff lasting one hour, Funcom have coded so thralls/pets take ONE food item from the thrall pot/ feed box about every 9 or 10 minutes … so it takes 144 pieces of food every day to keep your thrall/pet buffed. AND the thralls/pets will consume ANY food … not just their preferred food for the buff…
(I haven’t tested if Funcom has a time-elapsed catch up script on the thrall pots/feed boxes that run to calculate how much food your thralls/pet should have consumed between the time you last activated them by running near them and current time … but as pots seem to completely emptied when they used to stay full, I suspect they have.)

Thanks for the info.- appreciated
