When I find caged on exiled lands, more often than naught they are empty.
Someone got there first. I’ve had the best results at the den, near the priest and their ontourage.
Don’t think it’s just that - I play on a local dedicated server and would say they are empty 80% of the time - got 50 jailor keys on me
Siptah had this problem as well where the prisoner rotation is agonizingly slow and appears to be randomized (I wouldn’t put it past the dev team to use the fragments of power timer rules for prisoners in cages frequency)
I have noticed this too. I would estimate that >80% of the time they are empty in my Singleplayer game.
Do you have to wait in singleplayer for them to spawn? Do you have to keep the server up all the time for it to work right?
I have the same issue, but on pc.
I’ve recently started a new game on Siptah, playing single player on a private dedicated server. I’ve yet to encounter a thrall cage with anyone in it, despite coming across about 10 cages so far.
Those of us that like to dunk a test with the big toe in the water… thank you for the revival pitch.
Same issue on a dedicated server that I’m the only player for. Most of the cages are empty.
Can confirm it’s just the cages having an absurdly long respawn cool down. You’ll be lucky to get maybe 2 spawns in a day from any given cage. This means if you play on a server with other active players you probably are just getting beaten to it by someone else.
This never really made much sense to me. Shouldn’t the cage have the same respawn as the jailor?
Funcom should definitely change this.
Can confirm this, first person on after server restart on Siptah, cages are empty
I get 3-5 daily, for some reason. I watched a video about it, and it was glitched. After that it was like someone else breaking a mirror and me being punished for it.
I’ve read a narrative.
Hello,
Thank you so much for your report.

Can FC add “static ground”? I mean change the ground terrain to static RNG? I know someone here knows exactly what that is called. It just requires a seed value only known by the function that would iterate RNG with that seed. The thing is the function can be run over and over, as the seed value makes it run the same (same sequence). It’s the same work as endless maps. Changing maps can be done the same as changing the seed.
You see, it could greatly help on cages. The static seed values make it look like the cage is RNG.
wot. are you trying to flex on your programming skills while at the same time making no sense?
I can’t say how. The rules are setup like a tutor job is acceptable, but that gets forgotten by the next day. Thanks for helping.
My point above still stands. It is more fun seeding the world.
