Thrall Limits, Can We Turn It On?

I was initially against the limits, but we need it on officials. We’ve been over run with new clans that think they have to station every single animal and thrall they have. Two man clans with 200 animals alone are rampant. We had a clan that wanted to add another 20 archers to their already 75 archers on their walls.

What’s the word on this?

The latest information Funcom provided was what @Ignasi said on the TestLive Update 2.4 thread:

The thrall cap feature was introduced more than a year ago in the game and has been available for server admins and SP players since then. Enabling it on official servers is a setting change that would require nothing but a server restart. This is why it is not included in the patchnotes.

However, once we have concrete information on the exact date it is going to be enabled, we will release an announcement post with all the details in advance , including the final number per server type as well as any other useful information.

The initial plan is to have it enabled once, or shortly after, 2.4 is released. But we’re still discussing internally the fine details to every aspect mentioned above.

So, for now it seems to be “after 2.4 is released”, with an announcement post explaining everything in advance. However, it’s not clear from this whether they will activate it on console servers at the same time as on the PC servers.
