I dont feel it. Had to consume alot more before. Im around 170-200 stam with my builds. And have no problem at all.
Yeah its called adapting to the new scenario. Good players can do this regardless if its PvE or PvP.
No, they could probably be nerfed a bit more (authority stat not their base stats)
With 20 authority and 9 corrupted authority Berserkers get 4-5k Health
If you take the +20 to all stats your one berserker is going to be doing 400+ damage a hit with the proper equipment and buffs, with around 5.5k Health - You + that can kill any boss fairly easily.
Brutus is doing over 1k damage a hit with full buffed and the +20 stats, his armor is bad so he shouldnt be tanking too much of the harder stuff or masses of enemies.
With war party I have 2 berserkers with 4.5-5k health doing 200 damage a hit but now they have a ferroxic weapon and grey one weapon. I watched them just stomp the judge with no fear of being even at half health (I use warhammers so judge spends half the fight on his back), Havent met a boss yet on siptah they dont just walk through. Only thing I can imagine even threatening them would be arena champion and shes easy to stunlock anyway.
This is the best thing with the sorcery update - if you want to be a thrall commander you max authority and stomp everything. If you want to be a beatstick yourself, then ignore thralls max your strength and crush everything yourself doing 500+ damage a hit on your own.
The player is the controlled character in game not an npc following the character.
player v player.
No.
The Player is the Person playing the game.
Not the Character they make.
no?
so the player isnāt playing the controlled character in game? huh weird. Anyway
The player also controls what thralls they take, what weapons they make, ect, ect, ect
Every resource at the Playerās disposal is a tool for Player vs Player. That does not make oneās trebuchet a Player.
The character made by the player does not then log into the game to Play.
Character =/= Player
The character plays nothing.
+1 to LostBrythunian. Player vs Player means me vs you. Means me and what resources I bring to the battlefield vs what you and what resources you bring to the battlefield.
One can interpret player vs player as simply āmy character vs your character and thats itā and thats certainly one way to do it but I for sure see it as what resources I bring vs what resources you bring. Our characters are just part of those resources.
And in this pvp game, thats exactly what player vs player means. In other games it can certainly be my character vs your character.
This is a 1st or 3rd person game and not a sim or turn-based bot circus. The character is the 1st or 3rd perspective of the person in avatar form. Otherwise what, I could just record macros and have my computer control all my bots, and avatar. Companies ban you for that. The character is a representation of the person. The thralls are āoptionsā or bots and not the person. If anything theyāre Funcom - which might explain why theyāre not even useful in PvP. ![]()
The thralls are little more than weapons.
They are tools that one uses just like sorcery.
Furthermore, this one is in no way tied to the character they make, nor is that character representative.
This one could make a more melanin rich skinned tall woman from not-india with tig ole biddies.
Thatās a character. Not the player.
This one remains a short, pale, person who is not at all buxom.
This one is a driver. This one drives a truck.
The truck is not this one and the truck is not the driver (unless it is a self driving truck, then it is a bot).
Further, this oneās truck remains this oneās truck regardless of whether this one is driving or not. Regardless of whether this one remote controls it, programs it, or lends it out.
The truck, like the character, sits dormant and inactive when the player is not driving, unless someone has acquired access to it.
This one sympathizes with those who deliberately give themselves handicaps by not using every tool at their disposal.
This one does likewise.
However, claiming that thralls are not legitimate parts of PvP are like saying swords are not.
They are deliberately included obtainable combat multipliers of variable impact and quality.
Likewise fortresses and raids.
Can confirm
I use 20 authority with 19 corrupted and war party perk
Arena champion could kill my thralls but we just stunlock her between the 3 of us and she dies.
Even bloodmoon beast is easy with the build and I hear ppl say they hate that fight alot.
Yeah, I disagree with that - almost completely. If they were more marionette like then maybe - still probably not tho.
Yes, thatās called PvE. Youāre more or less there as a witness.
Not sure what your point is.
It was pretty obvious we were talking about PvE applications. XD
Umm, no. The sub-topic kicked off with someone claiming that PvP is person versus person and not person versus thrall.
I just did warmakers btw a couple of hours ago ![]()
Now, I have 0 points in authority atm⦠and I donāt even have maxed vitalityā¦
I have a full agi build with 400 HP and max expertise (temporary farmer build that got prolonged after 3.0 since itās just so much better)
I do have 2 thralls with me mainly for extra DPS and RP (through the Better Thralls mod, one of them is a tiger, the other a RHTS)
I am pretty sure the RHTS alone (6k hp without any sort of authority or elixir buff) could possibly wreck the arena champion, he is very far from ātoo weakā or āuselessā even without any authority points.
During most boss-fights the cat actually feels a bit squishy. White tiger with 2.7k hp⦠heās kind of a glass cannon⦠typically ends the fights with half HP. (That very same tiger though killed the red mother without my help on an authority build with the +20 all stats)
So no, I would not call them useless or weak⦠as for PvP⦠they were never meant for that⦠anything that can be defeated by you standing on a rock isnāt what you want to rely on in PvP imo⦠like @LostBrythunian pointed out. If you treat them as ācannon fodderā in pvp then sure they might buy you a few moments here and there.
Anyway, long story short⦠despite having 2 of them with me while I was doing warmakers⦠I ordered both of them to stop following⦠went in⦠and kicked the championās skinny behind with my 400 hp a bow and a katana
after which I opened the door for my followers and we carried on!
Yup, my 4.2k white tiger is about the same in 3.0 - pretty squishy.
Agree!
Yes but my post was a direct reply to one further up and clearly not part of the pvp discussion.
