Thralls don't move anymore?

Since the last update, the slaves assigned to a task no longer move, no longer walk around… Is this normal? Because it takes a lot of life out of the base…

This is because Living Settlements has been disabled on Official Servers until the devs can come up with a way to make it stop killing people’s thralls - many players have lost large numbers of their thralls because the system is bugged.

Now you will need to place your crafters wherever you want them to stay - you can set them in an open space and set them to perform emotes if you choose. Or you could stick them on the bench they should be working at, and they will perform a related animation. Or you could p[ace them anywhere else that one of those green outlines shows up. The only difference is that now they will stay where they were put rather than gathering together in one corner of your base and standing on each others heads.

Not nearly as much life taken out as when thralls just randomly deleted.

This one personally is extremely glad that the “feature” is disabled.
And will be ambivalent at it’s return even if/when they debug it.

Thanks, I really think it’s a shame they removed this feature. It really brought life to the bases, and I personally had added guards, which solved the problem.
I’m building a Nemedian-style city, so it seems a bit dead now…

Oh for the love of Set do not say you are doing that on a public server.
If so READ THE FORNICATING TOC.

It’s not removed, it’s turned off; as simple as a check box, on the public servers. Since the ToC clearly says villages/cities are a no no, YOU can just check the box in single player or on your private server.

As has been stated many players are losing thralls because of the feature; oh my I actually pulled that word up for once  It was pointed out before it went live it had major issues. But funcom isn’t real good about listening to us. Proof of that is how long how many have been asking for it to be turned off.

I like it turned off because my work room is so busy now.

Yeah, but because it was so buggy I had to lock all of my thralls in a 8x8 cube, without any doors. It was the only way to keep them from randomly dying.

Which kind of kills the purpose of the living settlements, when you see less thralls around your base than before it was implemented.

Just an FYI, I didn’t do anything different then I ever do when building besides having my well inside. Never lost a thrall.
