Thralls getting stuck on corners

[Thralls and pets keep getting stuck, i say on corners, but use the most liberal definition of that as possible. They are usually near a pillar/wall/interior decorations, you name it.]

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Take a thrall in a vault.
  2. Run around, especially taking care to take sharp turns after entrances
  3. Thrall/pet get stuck there.
  4. ARRRRRGH!

Yes. I have noticed this on Exiled Lands as well. Thralls have been behaving like crap since 2.2.0, but today’s hotfix appeared to make things even worse.

Sounds like a pathing issue for the the AI.

From my perspective, it looks like a collision issue. I play the game a lot and am used to looking at games in/made with UE4. Collision bounds directly affect the generation of the Recast navigation used by UE4 out of the box. I think there was definitely a change (intended or unintended) to the collision bounds for several resource objects (including crystals in Weavers Hollow) in 2.2.0 which does not appear to be fixed in 2.2.1. Since collision affects navigation as well… well. It seems to be a problem with both collision and pathing.

Yes, this is a pain. I’m getting tired of having to run and and out of vaults just to get my thrall unstuck.

It doesn’t help that the leash distance on thralls was changed to be 40 miles.

Same here as well - and that leash distance is a joke - now I know why thrall doesnt teleport back to me - btw getting in and out of dungeon (wine cellar f.e.) didnt help since thrall is know stuck to the wall. It seems like they are “glued” to walls and objects, sometimes choping down the tree or destroying a rock helps.
