Thralls/pets in the volcano/well

So this is the 2nd time I’ve had an issue with a thrall/pet dying in the volcano/well. Camel joe disappeared from following me and just randomly died…I’m assuming he fell in lava somehow. Then last night I had the captain with me venturing off to kill what lies at the heart of the volcano…well having to jump over lava is all fine and dandy for us real people…the a.i. not so much…maybe we can look into something to fix that?

note I did not try to build a walkway across. Do not believe you can build in the dungeon but maybe I’ll try later.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Have thrall follow you
  2. Jump into Well of Skelos
  3. Travel towards boss in the well
  4. Jump across lava and pray for your follower

You can’t build in the well, and usually only go as far as the forge to craft the obsidian.

Usually bring my thrall that far. As for the boss fight in the volcano, it’s anticlimactic. It’s a lot of build up fighting the phantoms then the boss comes out and has a heart attack

Yes I’ve beaten him many of times before. I tend to bring a thrall for the sake of having a companion with me. Also for help carrying stuff. I wasn’t sure how things were gonna be since the last update and it has been a while since I’ve ventured in there. I mean they made the wolves take more of a beating so didn’t know maybe if they made the serpent men harder also.
