As a suggestion to solve an issue. Have everyone booted from the server 30 minutes prior to server reset.
Here is a better one, check the server reset hour and avoid doing important stuff near it… get somewhere safe and wait for it to happen, then log back in and play
Are you on an official server?
Because the Official Server, I’m on starts warning about the restart at 20 minutes
then again at 10 and 5 minutes.

I am pretty sure op refers to problems such as duping.

I am not referring to issues with dying because of server restart or losing items to a server restart but I can not say more without adding to the problem.
