Excuse me, could we maybe get to toggle intro video?
atm, I have to wait for around a minute until game accepts my interrupt. “First, they took your family and your riches …” haunts me, I can’t stand it anymore, as a lovely intro video it is, it annoys me now and keeps me from starting into the game. I am sadly starting to hate it. Sorry to say so.

Agreed. Meanwhile, as a workaround, you can disable them manually.
Go here:
“…\steam\SteamApps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Config\DefaultGame.ini”
and change the “+” to “-” at the video part to be like:
-StartupMovies=
-StartupMovies=StartupUE4
-StartupMovies=StartupNvidia
-StartupMovies=CinematicIntroV2

I hope, the sound decibels on my intro are insanely high for no reason, I have my tv on 5 and it sounds like its on 50 when the intro or menu music plays. at least we can turn off the menu music…until your controller shuts off.
Question: is your game installed on an SSD or an HDD drive? I used to have a similar problem with an HDD drive, but after I moved the game files to an SSD, skipping the intro became basically instantaneous.
I don’t need those blood-dripping toes in my life anymore. I really don’t.

After I change this setting, in 99% of cases the game crashes with a fatal error when connecting to the server. Both to the official and to the single. Returning the intro cutscenes solves the problem. Funcom, is this some kind of unfunny joke?
Well, I suggest you make a bug thread about it, because this deactivating of the intro videos was initially posted by funcom stuff member in this forum… maybe you will get a solution!
I am fairly surprised that there is no option to skip it on PC. On ps4 it is as simple as pressing the start button (Options), then it just takes us directly to the main menu post-haste. I can understand how you all feel. I thoroughly enjoy the opening cutscene and still watch it periodically. But if I had to watch it say several times every week for two years, the repetition would take away some of its charm and make it feel frustrating. It would be exactly the same principle with any of my favourite movies. I hope the workaround did the trick for you all Tamyndris.
I usually skip it with x so it seems to be pressing any button to skip
I just skip it as well, but apparently it’s a mod thing. It won’t skip as long as the client is loading, and if you’ve got a lot of mods, then it takes a while to load. I’ve also seen it mentioned that hopping between servers with lots of mods basically causes the client to restart and go through this loading process as well.
I’ve only ever played around with like one or two mods, so I can’t say I’ve run into this problem.
