Too graphic an idea for a weapon?

I don’t thing it is giving the graphic violence in this game, but you never can tell sometimes. A strangling cord . One reason is it could be made to make it keep the target silent as you kill them.

The game needs proper stealth mechanics first.

Rope whip style with barb then, maybe ?

I previously suggested the addition of both a Whip and a Flail. Alas I was told that the physics of the weapons would be produce challenges.

Against players I assume would be the issue?

It was some time ago now Saidontis, and I cannot recall the fine details. But I believe it was raled to the physics of the weapons and their movement, and possibly the performance costs they would incur. However please do not mark my words on this one. That said, if Funcom were both able and willing to make whips (and flails) fully fledged game additions, I would gleefully receive them. :smiling_imp: :metal:

If I remember correctly on 2002 or 2003 I will play for the first time Balburs gate. It had 3 characters, if I am not mistaken…
Barbarian, wizard, dwarf.
Barbarian build was always tank, with high damage, heavy weapons and brutal attacks.
Same was on Diablo 3 too.
All the barbarian characters I ever played in all the games was this way, brutal, tanky war, no assassin style, no nothing, just you and all the enemies, fully charge for brutal war, no strategy, no mind at all.
We are barbarians in this game.
From all the prince of Persia I ever played the best was the warrior within, in this game Dustan was brutal, almost barbarian so I enjoyed it the most from all the series, before and after.
Since I started swinging my war axe the game draw a mark on me.
My No 1 game is Aloy, yes she is assassin, yes she is an archer, yes she can go brutal, but most she is an archer full of perks and skills. But this is a 2 month game only including the hardest mode.
This is not an online game
This is not a building either a grind game.
Gerald was grindy yet not Conan again.
I want stealth mode but not as a mode, as a behavior, a slowly walk behind the enemy or a mob and cut the throat with a knife, or break his neck with my own hands, after all I am a brutal monster physical phenomenon :man_shrugging:.

Gotcha and thanks for the info.

Barbarians aren’t that simple. Conan was a master thief in his time and was stealthy when necessary. There is room for both. I implore you, read the books. There’s more to it than just hitting things with big weapons.

Agreed. Conan was surprisingly agile for his size and this working in his favor. And Conan was direct granted, but like you referenced pointing to the books he was not stupid and was in fact very intelligent when it came to war, battle, and other fighting , but not just that. The Graves in the books are filled with people who underestimated barbarians .

Read a little bit more pls, for example the closure :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
I don’t want stealth as a fantastic perk, I want slowly walk behind the enemy … And the rest.
