I am quite a fan of skulls myself. I have trouble getting them from people though.
I would like normal animal skulls though. Like gazell or antilope skulls. There should be an option to use the stove to boil decapitated heads and get skulls.
Sort of half joking. I like morbid things in my house, need more varied skulls, more power to this thread.
Aye they changed how Weathered Skulls drop Alhambra. Humans no longer give them. Now only the undead such as Skeletons drop them. Which is a shame, as I used to mount skulls from T4 NPCs on a shelf with a sign below it stating their name (eg-Frigga Falsehope). Unfortunately I had to mix them all up when I finally moved to my T3 Black Ice base. Well either that or movee them one at a time.
Me too friend.
You know I actually had an idea for âanotherâ skull peoples. Let the skeletons continue to be the ones which drop âweatheredâ skulls; it would make sense given their constant exposure to the elements. For humans, instead let humans drop âFreshâ Skulls, a reskinned variant. Something such as this:
I agree. Perhaps we could place the severed heads on the Dryer to âcraftâ the skull of each one by curing it. As an added benefit, it would give the Dryer another use too.
THAT would also be very cool. I love the whole gloom and death atmosphere at my base.
I certainly like that idea, fresh skulls. It makes sense that humans you just killed would not have âweathered skullsâ, so we should indeed get fresh skulls, which would also be more resilient. I support that idea. They could be kind of like what you posted, a little bloody maybe. This is the world of Conan here. It was as horrific and morbid as it was violent. Having skulls all over is common practice hahaha. XD
And I still wish we could get more varied animal skulls. So far, as far as I know we have three types of skulls; weathered skulls, the skull from the skeleton snake enemy and there are supposed to be metal skulls too?
Theyâre a recipe from the Archive in the UC, but IIRC they require a Fragment of Power to craft, which is rarely worth it for a purely decorative item.
10 feat points Alhambra. Or build a Tablet of Power using 5 fragments to recieve 60 feat points. I call buy 5 get 1 free. I find it is easier to justify spending the fragment on a placeable after you have purchased all available feats.
Of course. Personally I would love a large Predator styled display for my many different skulls. Pehaps if we sat the many different types of severed heads on the Dryer, they could slowly transform or âcraftâ into their respective skulls.
Actually, as we can now fight âshadesâ of the Triumvirate in the Warmakers Sanctuary since this suggestion first came out, it would also be nice if we could have Giant-Kings skulls to accompany the aforementioned frost giant and serpentman ones.
Friend you are not the only one. In fact there have slready been call for that within this thread. I agree for the record.
Another item which I would love a placeable version of (which is skull related) is the games Deathmarker. That GRAVE/SKULL & STONE PILE looks extremely cool from my perspective. My home could use a graveyard out the back for atmospheric purposes. Would any other forum brothers and sisters care for a placeable Grave
But of course! Another previously requested it item which could accompany it would be a coffin. Graves, coffins, skulls, stone slabs, a kiln and some undead to guard it all. Now theres a backyard one could be proud of!
@Croms_Faithful In one of the questions of the week I suggested things like sarcophagi, coffins and tombstones, so yes I am totally up for a grave yard in my backyard.
I am building some catacombs using the arena pieces, nice and curvy and I find ways to improvise for things to put underneath, but a few legitimate accessories of death would be great. My catacombs serve 0 practical purpose lolâŠbut itâs where all the bones go XD
Turning this back towards some stress reliefâŠ
There used to be a grade school game of the three movies you would want if stuck on a deserted island. Well, since a lot of people are now in a sort of quarantine or shelter at home, what are your three moviesâŠ
It seems that there are essentially no pics on the interwebs (well none that I could find) of that Grave, the skull and stone pile.
Forgive, I didnt realise. But it is definately a good idea.
@WhatMightHaveBeen
That sounds like a fun game, and I am happy to participate. However, it is off topic, and would monstrosly bloat the thread. Could you you please start a seperate dedicated thread for it?
Speaking of stone pilesâŠwe should have that too, and cairns. I want to make the Micmac burial ground from Pet Sematary, but I canât find anything inside feats that look like the mounds needed to replicate the burial ground.
@Alhambra and @Broc a few rows of those little beauties would make for a nice improvised graveyard out the back of my house. I agree regarding the Dafari Skull Tree, and have requested it myself in the past. There are SO MANY existing assets which are already used for NPC camps, which the playerbase has asked to be added to the list of player craftable placeables, which we have often requested and would love to have. Some examples (please pardon some of the image quality):
