Unable to access any of my stuff after leaving a dead clan.Help?

Dear Funcom,

Excuse me, I’m new to this so I’ll apologize in advance for any mistakes. I ran into a big issue while playing Conan Exiles last night. I was the only one left of a left-for-dead clan, rather I’m the only one active. I had figured it was alright to leave my dead clan since I was tired of being in one when I’m the only one playing and seeing Left For Dead on everything I have. However, after doing so, not only did I lose all of my fighting thralls(they vanished), but everything became locked as if I wasn’t the one who made them but the clan did. I have a lot of stuff and had a lot of thralls, and I like where my current base is. In short, I made a lot of progress and Do Not want to wait a week to demolish everything and start back over. Can someone help me? To prevent such a problem to occur again, I suggest that this problem be addressed and corrected. (Note: I wasn’t the leader of the clan.)

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Go to the clan tab and leave the left-for-dead clan.
  2. The access to everything you made while still in the clan is locked and lose all fighting thralls.

Well that’s your problem right there. I realize that despite the formatting, this is in the suggestions subforum (where it belongs, since it’s not a bug), so no problem there.

But yes, you’re not the first to be stuck in a clan whose leader has abandoned the game. If you had prepared beforehand, there were things you could’ve done to keep at least some of your things. But since you’ve already left the clan, you’re unfortunately SOL.

It cannot be helped huh? This is where being new to the game backfires on you… T.T And this is the first game that did this to me so…

If I get the leader back on the game, would it still recognize him as leader (I dunno what causes the clan to become LFD.) and get his help?

Yes, if the leader of the clan is willing to come back (even for five minutes) to invite you into the clan and promote you to leader, you will be able to keep everything. That is of course the best possible solution.

As an admin on my private server, this is how I have helped many and would suggest you do the same on your server, unless on official:

  1. Ask the admin to remove the door on the house your stuff is in. If you’ve left the clan, ask them to drop the door for you.
  2. Put the new door back on the house. The house will be yours again and the boxes will open up.

It literally takes 15 seconds if he logs on. You don’t even have to be on when he does it. He can log on, promote you up the ladder to leader (if you are lower than an officer, he will have to promote to officer, then to leader). That’s it. then when you log on, you can demote, kick and add as you see fit.

Unfortunately he’s already exited the clan and is solo now. So to resolve it, the current clan leader and him needs to be online together so he can be invited back to the clan.
