I’ve just started the game and I’m only lvl 10 and I have unlocked basics building (like foundations, walls etc.) but I cannot build anything. Only some 2 simple bed versions and fire pit. I have tried on online game and solo but it is still the same. What should I do now ?
You need to assemble a construction hammer in your inventory and use that
Once you equip it you’ll be able to pick from building pieces by hitting F on keyboard or LB with a controller

No worries! It’s perfectly understandable, it’s also a completely new system so it even confuses veterans who haven’t been following the news about the game.
Previously it was like most other similar games and you crafted them in the inventory, there was just way too much clutter there after adding all the DLC building pieces etc so they moved it to this hammer to clean up the interface.
