You used to be able to place wall crenelations on the sides of foundation pieces. So if you use stacked foundations to create a wall, you could keep people from climbing up the lower parts of the wall. Like there were snap points on the top of the foundation piece as well as on the sides of the foundation piece.
Now it isn’t working but I am still seeing builds that use it. So I am wondering if there is a work around?
I think you can use regular fences.
This is the work around I use to put ordinary walls on the outside of foundations. Perhaps it will work for wall crenellations as well.
Basically, place the walls first and then put the foundation. Easy if you are building up from a foundation piece.
Foundation —> put wall(s) on top of the foundation -> next foundation level —> walls on top -> foundation
If you want a wall to go on the outside of a foundation into the ground rather than using a fence foundation…then that takes more planning … basically need to ceiling tiles on pillars —> attach walls to ceiling tile down into the ground —> snap foundation to ceiling tile.
Note if that foundation is destroyed anything above also is iirc (was that true?)
