Thatâs a different âfiberâ in context, friend. (Fiber Optic Cable).
Wish I had it where I live now, but only wifi exists for the duration until XFinity (a branch of Comcast Cable) finally makes their way here (somehow vaguely related to the boom in houses being built out here.
Perhaps you already know that. I may be just assuming so if I seem to be, please accept my apologies.
What we seem to be digging on is a programming aspect.
My conversation with @Dzonatas hasnât been about technology for several messages now. It has been about his refusal to communicate. Your contribution is very helpful â to me, at least. I was hope it might be helpful to @Dzonatas, too
Iâm starting to rethink my decision to keep trying. Iâve been operating under assumption that Iâm dealing with deliberate refusal. If it turns out to be an inability instead, then Iâm actually being a dŃck, and I should stop.
The reason why I donât know what you mean is because itâs too generic. Youâre saying âif you are asking me âhowââ without making it clear what that âhowâ applies to, without saying what Iâm asking you âhowâ about.
The same thing applies to the rest of the post. The whole post is extremely vague and ambiguous and does not contain any actual information in it.
Now, like I said, for one last try: do you actually even care what my questions were, any of them? I could pick one, but do you actually want to answer any question? If you donât want to, itâs as easy as saying âno, I donât want to answerâ.
At this point, I will treat an ambiguous or cryptic reply as the equivalent of saying âno, I donât want to answerâ, but I really would appreciate if you did answer unambiguously for once.
This is why I did not want to have conversations with this person anymore.
Likening the interactions to the heptapods of the Arrival movie or like my gif above.
When Iâve asked for clarification I get more nonsensical replies, and, Iâve asked outright to simply communicate in commonly understood English. Explaining that the way they write is not understood.
However, this did not elicit what I had hoped; so I could understand them. Iâve seen their replies elsewhere, they CAN write simply and succinctly; it is understood.
I believe this is deliberate, trollish behavior. Both in the dodging and how they construct their words.
Frankly, itâs not poetic or creative, it looks like a fumbled attempt to appear intelligent on the surface. I do not think they are stupid, I think they are selfish and enjoy this.
This person is welcome to correct me, but I will NOT respond if it is a jumbled mess of allegory or reference to uncommonly known connections.
Either way, this thread/topic is not for such subjective discussion.
Yes, âaboutâ is a much more appropriate kind of question or statement.
Maybe it would save time to let you re-ask your questions and wait for my reply. Iâm guessing it is easier to copy-and-paste from your end. Is there some reason you donât want to just PM me for this discussion?
Every effort from someone in here to educate me is more than welcome, donât ever apologize to me, thanks a million for taking the time to explain itâs really appreciated, sincerely!
âDarmok and Jalad at Tanagraâ is exactly what most of the interactions feel like. You hit the nail on the head there.
I donât know why it happens, and at this point it doesnât matter anymore. If itâs deliberate, it wonât change. If itâs innate, trying to force the issue would be unkind at best.
So Iâve come to the same decision as you: I wonât try to talk to him anymore, and Iâll only reply to his posts if strictly necessary (e.g. if someone is asking for help with the game and he offers misinformation).
My apologies to everyone else here for all the noise. I wanted to see whether if enough effort could produce better results. It didnât and I wonât do it again.
Well, every patch they release creates probably 3-6 months backlog of technical work to unf*ck everything theyâve done. Iâm glad Iâm playing Satisfactory, a beautiful UE5 game run by people who care about their game and their players. RIP Conan fans.
Then you lost me there, twice. Like I said before, it must be a generation gap. You made it more subjective⊠like it was okay, yet you expect âbetterâ.
UE5 is suppose to be âbetterâ⊠but UE4.15 is âokayâ.
Only provided whoever does the âremakeâ does it right the next time around.
Also,
Should it be done right, it will open up a whole new and better gaming experience.
