Wish I had it where I live now, but only wifi exists for the duration until XFinity (a branch of Comcast Cable) finally makes their way here (somehow vaguely related to the boom in houses being built out here.

I’ve nothing to contribute to the technological discussion, but I’ve been noticing @Dzonatas making less sense than average for some time now.

My conversation with @Dzonatas hasn’t been about technology for several messages now. It has been about his refusal to communicate. Your contribution is very helpful – to me, at least. I was hope it might be helpful to @Dzonatas, too

I’m starting to rethink my decision to keep trying. I’ve been operating under assumption that I’m dealing with deliberate refusal. If it turns out to be an inability instead, then I’m actually being a dіck, and I should stop.

The reason why I don’t know what you mean is because it’s too generic. You’re saying “if you are asking me ‘how’” without making it clear what that “how” applies to, without saying what I’m asking you “how” about.

The same thing applies to the rest of the post. The whole post is extremely vague and ambiguous and does not contain any actual information in it.

When I’ve asked for clarification I get more nonsensical replies, and, I’ve asked outright to simply communicate in commonly understood English. Explaining that the way they write is not understood.

However, this did not elicit what I had hoped; so I could understand them. I’ve seen their replies elsewhere, they CAN write simply and succinctly; it is understood.

I believe this is deliberate, trollish behavior. Both in the dodging and how they construct their words.

Frankly, it’s not poetic or creative, it looks like a fumbled attempt to appear intelligent on the surface. I do not think they are stupid, I think they are selfish and enjoy this.

This person is welcome to correct me, but I will NOT respond if it is a jumbled mess of allegory or reference to uncommonly known connections.

So true, my friend Pauline from France has Fiber connection and her gaming experience is simply outstanding. The other day i told her that i want to saw her something on Conan exiles and she said, oh we have to wait for 45 minutes to download it again. “Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra” is exactly what most of the interactions feel like. You hit the nail on the head there.

I don’t know why it happens, and at this point it doesn’t matter anymore. If it’s deliberate, it won’t change. If it’s innate, trying to force the issue would be unkind at best.

So I’ve come to the same decision as you: I won’t try to talk to him anymore, and I’ll only reply to his posts if strictly necessary (e.g. if someone is asking for help with the game and he offers misinformation).

My apologies to everyone else here for all the noise. I wanted to see whether if enough effort could produce better results. It didn’t and I won’t do it again.

Well, every patch they release creates probably 3-6 months backlog of technical work to unf*ck everything they’ve done. I’m glad I’m playing Satisfactory, a beautiful UE5 game run by people who care about their game and their players. RIP Conan fans.

The devs have addressed this question a fair few times. To paraphrase Dennis from one of the dev streams:

“Our version of Unreal has a lot of custom work plugged in to let it function in our workflow. Swapping from UE4 to UE5 would instantly create probably a year’s backlog of technical work, and it’s just not feasible to do.”

Por mais que todos queiram ver o game de Conan Exiles melhorado tenho certeza que será uma boa ideia fazer um novo jogo mesmo sendo um Conan Exiles. Não acho que o jogo que já está funcionando para todos e a grande maioria no Brasil não tem uma GPU boa para a atualização de gráficos

Por esse motivo que se a Funcom fizer um novo Conan Exiles no mesmo mapa sendo um game novo sem ter que atualizar o game que todos já temos seria a melhor opção para os jogadores e também para a Funcom fazendo um “novo Conan Exiles usando UE5” e vendendo essa versão separada porém a ideia melhor é manter todos os itens nos dois jogos Conan Exiles UE4 e Conan Exiles UE5

Se a Funcom olhar isso seria muito mais lucro que o DUNE. Conan Exiles em UE5 poderia ter a ilha de Siptah compartilhada com o mapa do exilio, até um portal do sorcery poderia enviar os jogadores para a ilha ou para o exilio

I also wish Conan would release a Unreal 5 Version. How it handles terrain is vastly superior to V4, the imposters, not so much.
