Update 2.3 review

I think alot of changes, when listed on PC patch notes, brought up alot of same issues.

“clean up inventory” but they add to many workbenches…

Most of stam changes, I think it was mostly the change to heavy/med/Lights with climbing that kinda ruined system. (aka heavy could go sliding down cliff in escape attempt with no draw backs)
I forgot what argument wise honestly…

The heal-food changes were also on the WTF list… I havnt got to see them yet.

Like I’ve said before, Console users are so faaaaaar behind. That any changes from are dislikes are gonna be ignored inless they out right break something.
I doubt we’ll get revert on anything inless PC said has massive dislike on it.

Ya know, it does take some getting used to. The stam thing especially. Oh and healing. But you know what? I have not dashboarded in 3 days! This is amazazing!!! I can deal with learning the changes because I can be in the game to do so!
Believe me I tried everything I could to see if I would DC and nothing. Im so very happy in just that alone!!!

Why is pvp dead??

In Rust and DayZ you can be killed by someone you don’t even see in 2 seconds. Those games are way more popular.

In Conan pvp is dead if you can’t run in circles and heal for 2 hours? :man_facepalming:

Exactly this. Now people are forced to fight smart to excel in pvp instead of just whoever has the most heals or is the better marathon runner wins.

just for your information , about your favorite flawless gear ( it will be much better if you craft a new set of it with the appropriate Tier 4 crafter ( for weapons you want the damage blacksmith ( sword blue icon ) and for armors you have the choice ( weight reduction armorers ( hourglass blue icon ) for heavy armors , or if you prefer more armor the armor armorer ( shield blue icon ) that is the best for light and medium armors ) it will have more attributes points given , and the overall stats will be much better than your flawless

I like the changes for the most part

The thing which triggers me the most is the new lag I get even on Xbox Series X, also I now have trees in my buildings, which I can’t break down, so just makes the build ridiculous. Change those and I’ll be happy.

Healing changes, stamina changes, I’ll get used to, adds more of a challenge to the game and new way of running things.

Please hotfix lag issues and random world material spawns (trees, rocks, etc) so that our buildings look normal again

Are they actually spawning inside or close by? The foliage radius was reduced and now they spawn much closer but unless your build hasn’t fully loaded they should not spawn on your land claim. Is this on an official or private server? If a private server, check your land claim radius settings, I used to run 0.5 but now I run 0.8 for the same result.

sometimes when you log in , and move too quick ( some of the resources that would be normally despawned by a fundation , will still show , have collision , but won’t be harvestable , and if you go out of render distance ( and even a bit further than for base hoover issue ) and come back they won’t be there anymore

Well I am still “crying” for it :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: , on PS4 it didn’t arrived yet . But either the complaints that was surely anticipated from a part of players , I really need this change , we all are . You know my dear friend since the time that the game was totally destroyed after the arrival of a dlc and it took about 2 weeks for the hot fix , nothing can surprise or scare me anymore . All I need is this change , nothing else no matter what .

Single player here, but this setting can be used in that mode too.
Did they changed the radius (i.e from 0.8 to 0.5 in the .ini file), or the values has been changed? I mean for example: 0.5 is not the same 0.5 than before?

@rolee9309 The foliage despawn radius was reduced. The resources spawn closer than they used to on default settings x1 and if you have already lowered your setting for land claim radius, you may end up with rocks spawning on your doorstep.

This explains why I loaded in with trees back inside my compound. Kinda happy about this lol :joy: it’s the little things.

It just seems like they have added a bunch of unnecessary steps to things. Like… now I have to have several stations to do what I did before via one, along with requiring myself to acquire several thrall types in one category now, only adding to the padding. It’s all a bunch of extra steps to reach the same destination, and for what?

Most of it is pointless, too: Who in their right mind would opt for anything other than cost reduction? Aside from a unique recipe or two, that was the main reason I wanted T4 thralls. Also, on that topic, where is the Artisan table that reduces costs?

The only reason to use the timed one, would be if you are under attack in PvP and need something crafted faster.
But I am not a PvP player, so I dont know if such a scenario is “real” :smiley:

No, you always go for the cost reduction. In PvP you usually pre-craft 20-40 full epic sets with bulked platings.

That’s 12 days of work if you play 4 hours each. :slight_smile:
