Yeah, that’s a problem as well.
I believe it’s already been established that the Conan movies have little to do with the actual Conan lore/universe.
Those are just Hollywood interpretations and changes for sensationalism.

Sorry, but that’s not really a fact. I challenge you with the burden of proof on this one. PLENTY of players of video games actually love books/comics/graphic novels.

Macing them unconscious and then hanging the body double could be easier to work with (also super intimidating; crucified alive).
Edit:
Of course the soon to be corpse would vanish in time and replaced by hanging skeleton. Single cross for each player in a server. After awhile the skeleton breaks apart too. When examined, skeleton has bones in their inventory and it breaks then too if they are taken.

Oh good point it woudl degenerate into a skelenton after a few hours. (or maybe just to make it easier turns them into what looks like a ghoul so they dont have to waste resources)
Or i guess they could decapitate the body so it doesnt have to load faces.
Great observation. Makes it much more intimidating too.
