Vanir Loysings - Who Are They?

So I was always wondering what “Loysing” meant. I did some research, and it’s apparently an Icelandic word for like, rebels or secessionists. So they are like Vanir who “broke away” or “seceded” from the rest of the Nordheimers?
I mean I realize they are just Surge NPCs who have no real lore at all, but I thought it was interesting so figured I would share it.

They’re former slaves captured by the Vanir and later freed by their masters
