I’ve been moving and upgrading my base from the beginning area to a more advanced area. I built a Wheel of Pain and placed it. I had a lesser wheel at my old base with a thrall being trained. The Lesser Wheel has vanished with my thrall and trainer.
If you have placed it on the ground, then it has decayed. When placed directly on the ground the placeables have very short decay timer. To make sure that this doesn’t happen, build on foundations and check the timer with a repair hammer or by holding tab while pointing at the wheel.
You can also check the event log (press esc), to find more information. Select filters, max out distance and press submit to populate the log.
I checked the log and it doesn’t say it decayed, no information was in the log about the Wheel at all. I had checked it the day before too.
