What I am trying to find out is, Is there a difference between walls and frames (the walls with a window in them)? Or do they both offer the same amount of heat/cold protection?
Well, if you are close to a window you don’t get a full shelter buff which will ultimately affect your resistance as well. I had a topic somewhere where I compared the shelter buffs:
An additional consideration is, if you are on a PVP or Conflict server, other players can shoot through windows.
or steal on pve if the settings allow
