We want to play our Coop game what we’ve played for over a year without joining problems, but after the sorcery update my husband couldn’t join the game any more. when he tries to join you see the connecting running but after some time he’s pushed back to the main menu. we have 3 mods (AquiloniaServerMod, Emberlight 3.3.2, pickup+)running, all are updated after the sorcery update, battleeye is deactivated. any helpful solutions?
Hello, I have the same problem.
Does anyone have a solution, please ?
Greetings Halatir and littleshishi!
Welcome to our forums and thank you for reporting your situation regarding your inability to play co-op.
Our team is currently aware of this issue and the workaround is to delete the following file:
Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Mods\modlist.txt which will guarantee that mods are not loaded.
In any case, make sure to verify the files of the game and restart you computer after doing so.
Additionally, we suggest for you to use the Steam option to ‘‘change accounts’’ in order for the system to force Steam to disconnect your account, and then please try to play online again.
Ultimately, if nothing has worked so far, we encourage you to unistall the game, make sure to delete all the game folders and reinstall the game.
Please let us know if the issue persists after performing the suggested steps.
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Got the problem solved as we put the tethering distance to minimum and me standing still till my husband has joined. After that I could put the tethering back to max.
Good afternoon.
I’m sorry, but do you mean we can’t play with mods anymore ?
Halatir, What the tethering distance is please ? How we put it ?
I play with a friend, in local co-op, who is not in the same house as me
Thanks so much for the response.
Hi, the tethering distance is the max distance where player could be go away from the host in Coop mode. At the moment we encounter a problem were it tells us that we had a mod mismatch. We had 4 mods, all had the same mod version, are recently updated and are listed from 1 to 4 in the same position. So there couldn’t be a mod mismatch as we’ve seen. If you had further questions, feel free to ask
That’s a separate issue, you don’t actually have the same mods, it just shows up that way. Steam has been having trouble pushing mod updates so first you should both try unsubscribing and resubscribing to mods on their respective steam page, if that does not do the trick then do a verify game files which will force a workshop update as well
So we get back into our game together after deleting the modlist.txt file several times there weren’t any mod mismatches.
