What exactly is with the CONSTANT rain?

Do the devs have some fascination with rain storms or what? Is it really necessary for a rainstorm to happen 2-5 times PER DAY cycle near mounds of the dead?

Can someone tell me if there is some server setting I can change to stop this from happening. It is SO annoying. Also, why does the rain sound not get muted some when I walk inside? Inside during rain sounds exactly like OUTSIDE during rain. Am I the only one that finds this insane?

Mounds of the Dead, the jungle and the coast are just high storm areas, they always have been. Since they are sandstorm-less zones i guess they had to make em interesting some how. Now they need to add snow storms in the cold area, and ash “snow” in the volcano to complete the set.

Some rain… great, I get it… but CONSTANT rain? A bit much don’t you think?

I’d get the constant rain in the jungle. Makes sense. … but the “dead tree” area around mounds, RIGHT next to the frozen north? Come on man.

I guess its supposed to add to the undead, cursed spookyness of the area,“atmosphere” i dont know man. Thats why ive never seen many main bases there, just outposts for farming the cimmerians, glowing skellys and capturing the now very elusive Berzerker. Its just a place you visit, never a place you live.

That’s exactly why I hate living around those areas. It just gets too much really quickly.
I get the idea that they’re going for atmosphere, but damn that’s a lot of rain…
