What harms rendering the most?

, ,

These are the best for PlayStation performance! A lot people that still playing on ps4 are changing their torches to glowing coop just to render faster their own base.

What i do not to have laggy bases in official servers.
No candles!
Less possible thrall animations.
Less possible decorations and no more wall hang weapons.
No farming stations except a horse pen fixing poo.
No more excessive material stacking.
No more excessive legendary weapon stacking.
No more armor wardrobes
No more religion altars except if i want to fix something. But after i finish i destroy.
No more followers madness reaching the limits.

But there’s one sad notice that i made playing Siptah the other day . I was doing a challenge and i was finding recipes in the vaults. From habit i consume the recipes. After a number of recipes consuming i started lagging in my single player with literally zero builds. If this really affects the game performance it’s sad. But probably i am wrong, or even better, i wish i am wrong.

Thanks! I think it still applies in this discussion

Appreciate you looking into it, if I still had blender I’d do it myself of course. Never believed it was the model but instead the applied artwork to the mesh.

I notice alot less lag when buildings have minimal decorations and always use radiant gem torches … surely witch fire is the same as normal torches… it’s comments like that that leave everyone bewildered I presume he meant glowing goop too … I stopped using chests where possible too and use vaults.

My base has 600 placeables and 18k pieces and have no lag yet I can go into a base with 8k pieces but nearly 1.5k placeables and it totally ruins the game

I remember the mirror that came with sorcery update that changed as you got closer used to cause massive frame havoc when placed. Although they did fix it I wouldn’t recommend placing too many though.

Wait…How was there a 6 month skip? Shouldn’t the thread have been closed after 7 days of inactivity?

This was my thought too. :joy:

I think general discussion threads stay open if a solution wasn’t picked.
