Just curious… What platform do you play on and why type of controller do you use?

I play on Xbox with the base controller I got from the console. Been planning on PC for a while but I’ve been looking for something good and within my price range, around $600-$700. I have a PS4 but I don’t want to buy it on another platform and download however many gigs it’ll take. But I’ve been playing on Xbox One for a while.

Okay, how is it that PlayStation has more votes for platform than Xbox, yet Xbox controller has more votes than PlayStation controller? That’s confusing.

True, but PC does have controllers of it’s own apart from the Steam one, which is what I’m guessing “Other Game Controller” is.

I feel like there should be an option for mouse and keyboard, since I imagine that’s how the majority of PC users play the game.

Well, I did contribute to the messing up of numbers on both polls, since I play on both PS4 and PC, and use their respective controllers.

I actually have it on two systems, the ps4 when i got my friends to try it or when i just want to sit on my couch and listen to a audiobook.

I also have it for pc because of mod support. I play with an old xbox 360 controller because the game seems better suited to controller imo.

For PS4 I use the standard batwing with a BT keyboard for chat.

PC KB
Gaming rig: Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition with mechanical keys
Living room gaming PC: Razer Tartarus membrane specialized one-handed gaming keyboard
Testing PCS: membrane-based wireless Logitech K260

On PC I use the Razer Naga Hex mouse on all systems.

I play on both PC and Xbox.

Xbox and Standard Wireless Controller for me. I play a lot of sports games and destroy controllers on a regular basis. I try to pick up controllers on the cheap and used to use my credit card points but they haven’t been available for a while now.

I did have the Xbox Elite controller which was great for the sports games but after awhile it had a serious forward drift from too much Conan play.

The numbers might be off because I have a wonky setup. I play on Linux using a kind’a Windows emulator to run Steam and using gaming tools like WINE and Lutris and Proton.

While I’m a Playstation fanboy, I prefer the Xbox controller because it fits my adult hand better than the tiny Playstation controller.

And yes, you can plug your Xbox controller into your PC’s USB port and use it with most Steam games. I believe you can also do the same with a USB Playstation controller, too, if you prefer…
