Will crossplay between PS and XBOX ever be added? Many games have this feature that allows you to play with friends who have a different platform than yours.
Unlikely to happen due to how long the game has been out. Closest we have is Game Pass for Xbox and PC.
While I would support this type of cross play, it’s too dangerous, IMHO, to open that door and we get the potential of cross play with PC

A PC with an xbox controller… maybe.
There’s devices that allow for mouse and keyboard to emulate controllers. Trying to ‘protect’ controller users is a futile waste of time.
But in either case, there’s no reason why PS and XBox should be separated. I’d even say let them play with PC users but unlock the ability to use Mouse and Keyboard natively. That way they can choose to handicap themselves or not.

But looking at how Ark’s servers are going I wouldn’t want cross play.
I can give love to my non Xbox Exiles here.
It’s more whether the games support the function or not. I know it sounds dumb but a PC game ported to a console may not have the ability to use kb&m on that console game.
It does when you plug a mouse and keyboard into a device that tells the console its a controller.
Current gen consoles natively support them, but the games themselves also have to be coded to allow for them. Not sure if CE is in that category or not.
