I like alliances as an idea but this is an endrun on thrall limits for officials. People wouldnt clan; theyd just ally with each other to have more thralls. A toggle that was off on officials would be very welcome though.

Id love to have a real Active story mode in the game map with multiple missions, ally npcs, some tipes of transportation like horses, carts, the possibility ti make ally some of the enemy depending on Who you are, the possibility to have a more large map even if the means to have some sorta of loading and some tipo of portal like talking with a Sailor at the docks or teletrasportation with some new mage ally npcs, the possibility to create some pregenereted structures like bridges in some particolar spots of the map via placing “x” material a umbrakble chest near the spot, im not english Sorry for the bad grammatic.

Thinking new purge types that can happen anywhere on the map,

Hyrkanian Raiders: Thinking Hyrkanian’s that can be mounted or dismounted and use bows, curved swords, other weapons and wear Hyrkanian raider armor. ((A more elite purge type can be found around the Relic hunters city and the Dogs of the Desert base. Another Elite version can be found in the jungle as a mix of Hyrkanian raiders and Lemurian soldiers)).

Stygian raiders: Stygian’s wearing raider armor in order to launch assaults against those who would threaten the Relic hunters but not give away who sent them ((could use snake arrows or a poison arrows?)) . ((more Elite version of the purge with Stygian soldier armor color and Stygian solders found around near the relic hunter city,the forgotten city and dogs of the desert terf)).

Thieves: your basic bunch of standard thieves who will believe they are strong enough to destroy things of yours and steal from you, don’t or rarely use shields and most use quick attacking weapons((like daggers and short swords)) and wear light armor. ((more elite versions of the purge can be found around the Jungle ship wrecks, forgotten city, and Relic hunter city, mainly composed of elite Zamorian Thieves)).

I would like to see:

  • Removing stats from armors and reintroduce them as armor kits instead. This way i can wear the armor set i like without affecting my gameplay and still build my character the way I want.
  • Combat/support Magic (more combat style diversity)
  • Ability to dress crafter thralls (most of them wear coarse clothing and its not fun, my base looks like a homeless shelter)
  • Ability to place a mount in the inventory of a fighter thrall and have him mounted (would be so cool)
  • Ability to set guarding thralls on patrols from point A to point B, and point B to point A, in a loop. (would make the game more immersive). With the thrall limit on the way, we won’t be able to cover every corner of our base.
  • Building decay rework (maybe have players pay 10% material cost per week, for the base they own- this way players will limit themselves by building as much as they can harvest and not feel restricted by the game, and we can get rid of all the mindless sandstone spam.
  • Player vendors (because trading can bring a community together)
  • Permanent visual tattoos (i understand that the stat tattoos are temporary, but there is no reason to make the cosmetic ones temporary too. I built my base in a cosmetic way, would prefer my dancers to look nice without having to renew their tattoos every day).
  • Rework NPC vendors, so they sell more useful stuf for more reasonable prices (they can have randomized stock that changes every week - this would become a nice game feature)
  • Player server cap raised to 70 (more ppl, more fun)
  • More dance styles for Entertainers and the ability to choose the dance. More actions for the entertainers such as singing, instrument playing, jugling, waving a feather fan.
  • Less rain in the north (it’s too much, raining 24/7)
  • Rework sandstorm to deal dmg 10% of player hp per sec(this should be a survival feature. right now it feels just cosmetic in endgame).
  • I’ve always wanted to roleplay as a beekeeper. Rework bee hives and make honey more potent as food/healing and harder to get, like 5 pieces per day, per hive. Also every hive should have 20 bees and a queen bee as a prerequisite to produce honey.
  • Introduce 1 pet Animal Pen (they can look like an iron bared cage to fit one animal and make the beast more visible. Would be awesome to build an animal zoo)
  • More player traps, like Punji Sticks(more use for the pallisades), Snake Pits(would give us a reason to capture those snakes in the desert), Cartridge Traps, Tiger trap hole(more use for pets), Bamboo Whip, Bear traps(that can get a player stuck for 5min - true survival game). This would make it more challenging for raiders.
  • More chests and container models (like jewelery caskets(for gold etc), barrels(for fluids; putting oil and ichor in a metal chests really breaks immersion), grain sack(for all the grains, seeds and flowers)
  • Ability to pack large quantities of resources into bearer packs and maybe call them bundles.
  • Cosmetic placeable resources such as steel bar stack, black ice veins, shaped wood stack
  • Adding farming to the game. Placing a seed into a compost heap, earns you a produce and more seeds. Add larger compost heaps.
  • Add rings with attributes
  • Add idle animations for thralls at crafting stations when not working (too much noise sometimes and less immersive right now)
  • Make the Shattered Springs (Brimstone lake as some call it) a no build area. The first zone people start spamming sandstone just to grief. Noone would complain, really.
  • Add improved water containers such as metal flask, glass bottle to hold in inventory. Would be a much needed upgrade to the water skin.
  • Add a caravan cart wheel that can be equipped with a mount and used to transport goods(like 500 slots at least). We need a caravan in this game to transport stuf between bases.
  • Ability to demolish own base with one action(like you do with decayed bases). Maybe add a confirmation box to type ‘delete’ so no accidents happen. this would be helpfull so that no foundations get stuck in terrain props or undermesh and become unreachable.
  • Add player eating and drinking animations that stunts players for the duration. Would make the game more of a challenge. Better than spamming food and running in circles. Also would bring the much needed difficulty to PVE and PVE-confict servers and add a bit of immersion to roleplayers.
  • Increase the ceilings supported by a pillar from 4 to 10 to allow for more indoor space. Maybe add them as improved pillars that are larger and cost more. Some people are claustrophobic and would enjoy this improvement.
  • Add an additional 0 to player health pool, only visualy to match our thralls hp. Right now it feels like i’m the thrall, and my thrall owns me.
  • Crafting bench for modular building pieces t1-t3 where we can place lets say, a carpenter
  • Rework world boss system. Have bosses spawn for a limited time, appear marked on the map. Grant building materials as well, like an improved bearer pack(or chest that you can pick up). Have a maximum 1-2 bosses spawn at a time.
  • Seeing the weapon, shield, quiver and bow attached to player while holstered.(at least the melee weapons)
  • Faster elevators

One little thing I didn’t know I needed until making some for a mod: Half height walls to stack on regular walls for sorta normal ceilings. It’s much less claustrophobic than regular walls, and provides more variations in build heights. Especially if it was paired with some half stairs.

Granted, I could just mod more of these in, but the console Exiles would miss out.

Probably more then anything else:

  • Ample warning before changes that massive reshape game play, and patience to listen to discussions about pros and cons before they go into effect on the live game. I would assume the test server would be for that purpose. Many additions have had hidden consequences
 Momentum and the new player list black out


  • The need for separate settings on between PvP and PvE servers is needed now more then ever. It would be great if servers could be even more diverse in their settings to spread out options for many different play styles


But at the very least, toggles between PvP and PvE on the critical issues. The player list comes to mind. Both PvP and PvE play very differently in this game and they should be adjusted differently, not both subjected to adjustments targeted at a specific server type.

  • gatherer thralls and gathering benches. At least for the basic resources. I wouldn’t begrudge a more complex and higher tier system though.

  • More purpose for mounts. Allow max enc build on a horse without cripple. If dragging is to hard on the servers, allow knocked out thralls slung over the back of the horse. (fix horse slow down on small rocks)

  • Craftable small boats, row boats and rafts. Great for aesthetic, but even better if they could work and transport a player. (It wouldn’t even have to be faster then swimming).

  • Just more additions to the feats and library of craftables in general. Additions to current options such as alchemy, warpaint, blacksmithing and new weapons is great, but what about new additions to areas that don’t get much attention? The thralling bench? Gardening? Maybe even something completely new? Admittedly no immediate ideas come to mind though.

  • plenty more ideas, but also more focus on bug fixes and testing issues or questionable additions. And of course, the ever request follower AI rework.

Outside of the surprise drastic changes and the hit to official base building/thrall capturing with the upcoming limit, still love the game. Keep up the great work Funcom.

I’d like to have a very simple feature. We do have Shadowspiced food for all the cubs except Foals! I’d like to see 4 sorts of such food every one of them not only speeding up conversion but giving a higher chance to get one of the four coat colors.

Unreal engine can’t handle that many, ever wondered why even fortnite has a 100 players limit per session? And ark uses a proprietary modified unreal engine and it’s not performant, as soon as you hit 100 players the ark server gonna pup its pants.

Testlive is just for show.

I am not sure exactly what you are talking about. Its been a very long time since I touched minecraft. All I was talking about is something simple as a quarry bench where a miner thrall would be placed at with some gathering resource. You come back at times and pick up basic things like rock. (or wood, or the simple mats).

I’m don’t see how this would cause a problem anywhere in the game for anyone
 It would just relieve some of the time spent on the simplest, but longest time investments in gathering.

Or do you have any specific reasons as to why you wouldn’t want that?

There is something to be said for needing to be playing in order to gather materials to increase base size. I would abuse the crap out of any mining ability for rock. I hate busting rock and if the game collected it for me in any way, i’d logout, go play some borderlands, and come back in 3 days and build my base larger.

I suppose there is merit to that.

However, thats sort of why I specified only the base materials
 I wouldn’t think it would be benificial to make some of the rarer mats like brimstone, gold/silver, etc
 to be available through this method.

Nor would I think the gatherer bench would replace actual gathering (even of the base material) but rather just augment it.

My hope/goal would not to take game play out of the game. Just replace the tedious/monotonous repeating tasks with something automatic to aid that


In my mind that wouldn’t push me from playing the game while I wait. That would just take away from parts of the game that are boring so I can spend more time doing the things I enjoy. (As it stands, I load up my four kilns with mats for Hardened Brick and often find myself doing what you stated (leaving and doing something else) just because of that alone.

But you are right. I don’t necessarily agree with mechanics that play the game for me, causing me to actually avoiding playing the game. My hope would just be in the tasks that I don’t really log on the game to do (just forced to) could be relieved a little.

Rework the rewards for dungeon and world bosses. Everyone in the same clan that is participating should get rewarded not just the first person to hit “E” or harvest the body. This is, and the inability to form a team, is why this game is so solo orriented. The wine cellar only gives the recipe to one person, no one else gets anything for being in the boss fight! Why fight world bosses with others when only one person gets rewarded for the effort?

Additionally a way to align clans would be good so that attacker’s and defender’s thralls are not attacking an aligned clan that is helping.

Finally get rid of the forced restart a character when you make the keystone, instead give a reward that makes it worth going through all the effort to make it and let it be repeatable.
