Those pc Xbox dates for free play new players. Sony has probably a issue with setting it up.

They said on Twitter that Playstation version will be released on the same date, September 1st.

I think it was the idea of F2P for that week that Xbox and Steam is allowing that was being questioned. I don’t even know if Sony has that capability.

It doesn’t require a lot of optimism, it just requires looking back. There have been releases with catastrophic bugs, such as intermittent crashes. And every time that happened, Funcom released a hotfix ASAP.

What they don’t do as quickly is release patches that solve other things people call “game-breaking”, because people here have a tendency to call even the silliest details “game-breaking”. After all, predictions of doom and death of Conan Exiles are posted to these forums on every day that ends with “y”.

If you mean file size, expect very large. Around 90GB

The install size of the game after the 3.0 is actually less than the current live one. They managed to bring it down by like 15-20gb I think?

Updating existing files is actually more to download than a full reinstall. Might be faster to uninstall 2.8 and reinstall 3.0

Yeah, but I assume asking the “weight” of a patch or something usually will entail what the damage will be in the end. If they learn that the end result is actually a smaller install-size it might make them feel a little better.

I wouldn’t want 3.0 released sooner than “when it’s done”.

Though I might be playing Dwarf Fortress’ next release by then.
